Hi all. Sorry I went AWOL again - embarrassed by continued failure to be AF for even one day:o. And its getting worse.

Well I've just decided that I will go an have a chat with APAS to see if they can help me sort myself out. Hope I can just drop-in and I really need to talk to someone.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and apologise.

    So scared:(

Good to 'see' you Mark. I know it's hard but the fact you are concerned about the drinking and have a plan is an excellent step forward. Do come back and tell us how you get on and good luck.:)

    9AFDs please Shaggy.

The call of the sun and the cold, crisp white was loud last night but I managed to resist. I do want to get to target this month (and every month). My long term plan is to stick with the moderate, sensible drinking AND have at least 10 AF days every month. Last week, I often had a coffee or chocolate during the day and no more than a single glass (or none) at lunchtime. Previously, on holiday, I'd be trying to steer people into bars from midday onwards so that I could have wine and more wine.

Evilsquid, I think you are doing amazingly well. If i remember rightly when I returned a few weeks ago you were struggling a bit, but now you've racked up loads of AF days.

Sorry if i've confused you with someone else.

İm a bit unsure how you report your AF days--i have been AF now for 7 days due to my medical problems. do the targets start from the 1st? is there a star for acheiving the most conscecutive AF days??
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.

Nearly bottled it - there was a nice pub next door and I got the bus:rotfl:

It was useful, not least because it took my mind off my wd pains. I've read the literature they gave me and got another meeting set for 10 days time. Nice people - Anyone lurking and wondering, give them a go.

Now I'm hoping the worst of the pains are over and I can try ànd sort the mental side out. Just clinging to fact I haven't yet relapsed to nicotine:cool:

Its nice to be back and found reading back On everyones posts has really help give me some hope (and your comments and pms).

Thank you all and fingers crossed i can post in red and bold soon too!
