oh Pricey that sounds a bit like my Sat night, one bottle turned to two and then I opened #3, stopped one glass into bottle three but blimey I didn't feel very clever this morning. I know my limit is a bottle of wine and why I don't just stick to it is beyond me. Even that one glass is too much. Daft woman that I am.

So still on 15 for the month, but AF today even though was offered wine tasting

Checking in another two AF days (yesterday and today). I feel loads brighter for not having drunk anything for a couple of days. Bank holiday here tomorrow and I am determined to spend it in the garden.
    Trying to keep in budget.

Target of 25 for June, please Shaggy, and 22 AFDs to report so far for May. Thank you!!

The weather is going cooler soon - better for Pricey, she doesn't feel as much like drinking cold wine ...

Have a good week everybody x
  • Target of 16 for June please Shaggy.
I seem to have failed miserably with my intended target for May.......obviously over estimated my willpower!
No AFD's to report over the weekend, but have seriously cut down on previous weekends, so feeling better and more encouraged with my progress and control.

Hello. Changed username as DH felt it was too identifiable. So I'm starting with a target of 20 DAYS for June (making allowances for Jubilee w/e and parents wedding anniversary (strangely enough I drink less at parties)
    Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18
    Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o

Well, my 1st weekend in 3 months that I have had a drink everyday - all controlled so am happy about it - blaming the weather obv....
Had 2 pints of lager on Fri eve
A few pear ciders on sat and a 2.5 pints yesterday

I met a man at my singles night on Fri, meeting him for lunch today...eekkk. Will be on the soft drinks, feeling bad that I won't reach my target otherwise :)

Gutted, just done a count up and I will be one day short for my target, boo hoo.....

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the sun today, looks like it is going to turn here tomorrow :(

last night was AF so one more for me.

confession, that was pretty much wholly down to the fact i got wasted at eurovision. i hadn't eaten since lunchtime and as my friend had already eaten his tea and wasn't hungry yet, i decided to wait to eat and forgot all about it the more i drank. it all went completely to my head as it was on a completely empty stomach and it wasn't pretty. i spent all day yesterday horrifically hung over and i appear to have hit my head whilst out of it because i have a bruise on my forehead. its shocked me just what a difference eating food has to how drunk you get, i didn't drink any more than i usually do when i at a party, the only difference was no food.

Hi everyone. I'd like to report 5 days AF! Very proud of myself. I did have some on Saturday night, but I went for dry martini and slimline tonic rather than wine at the bbq, so about 5 units over 4 hours. If felt so good to be totally in control, but didn't get questioned from family about not drinking (they'd defo think I was pregnant and I don't need that hassle right now). I'm a bit disappointed that I won't make my target this month, but I was probs being a bit too ambitious anyway. My target for June is 25 days please.
