    15 please, Shaggy

Well, it's Saturday and I have a limited amount of wine for DH and I to share tonight with a meal. And then the bells can toll as much as they want, but there is no more in the house.

  • Oh dear Missrlr! Just goes to show there are more dangers to wine drinking than the ones we get told about!

I've had quite a lot of wine this weekend and don't feel too good about it this morning. Tummy feels bloated and yucky! I wish I could keep this feeling in my mind when the wine is slipping down so easily the night before.
    Planning to be AF today.

Hi there. Can I join you. I seriously need to stop drinking. I probably drink a couple of bottles of wine a day and am hiding wine around the house to keep it from DH. He finds it and is losing patience. He has a high stress job and I 'work' from home having given up the rat race due to depression. I'm on strong anti-depressants and have spent some time as an inpatient. I've tried AA meetings, but have never really clicked with anybody to talk to - I live at the opposite end of the country from friends/family and know virtually no-body up here.

Of course you can join us cat_smith. Just take one day at a time and check in here any time you like. Someone is usually around. If targets work for you the lovely Shaggy keeps our totals. Good luck

    Hello all

I'm back!! Yep, early....long story! Piglet poorly all day yesterday and with the holiday park being particularly dismal, we honestly couldn't face another day! So changed our ferry crossing and came back early. Basically we had a very expensive day trip to the Isle of Wight!!:rotfl:

Piglet still under the weather today:( Very quiet and not eating much, poor thing. He's happy though as Mum and Dad are bringing the animals back tonight. Unfortunately minus one chick:(:(. Hen solo hasn't been doing too well and now cant walk properly. My Dad is going to "deal" with it for us and then we can have a fitting funeral for him.

    So yeah...fab weekend here.

Well chipped tooth aside I now claim
10 days AF this month please

Honestly I have no idea how I managed to chip a tooth on a tuna salad, but I am sure I just used it as an excuse for the whole bottle of wine and extra glass. Did not sleep at all well so totally shattered now

    Morning all

    13 please shaggy!

Taking Piglet to West Midlands Safari Park today. Was going to do Legoland but prices are extortionate!!! Mum said to wait and she will get them on her tesco vouchers :)

Trying to cheer ourselves up. Pets came home last night.....minus Hen Solo. Dad brought him in a little box and we are having a burial this morning.:(:( Seems the animals have been spoilt though whilst at Mums and Dads...Hoppsy came back with some corn on the cobs, some herbage and a run for the garden!!! :rotfl:
