    Me bad :(
The wine monster attacked me last night
I don't know what has happened to me this week, but I am having an extremely bad week at work - not jsut me either, colleagues are all as bad

I walked out of work yesterday, after e-mailing my boss to let him know I wouldnt be staying late - he actually ran after me in the car park - maybe my e-mail was a bit heavy worded, but no regrets in sending it

So, I went for a long 2 hour walk, sure that it would get rid of my wine craving, it didn't and all I thought about was having a drink, so I went to the shop, bought a bottle of wine and a family bag of Minstrels...
1st time for Wine Wed in 3 months...
I only had 2 glasses, so was controlled - if I had had a drink straight after work, I would have been alot worse

So no more AF for me to report

Good for you to making the effort, very impressive. :j

I agree, it was controlled and you did a lot of damage limitation. So you werent AF, but after all the days you have been its still an amazing achievement. :D As you say on and up.

Is your goal to be AF free or to be a now and again drinker?

Out of curiosity, do you know what your plans are for the rest of the bottle?

I'm also addicted to drinking brake fluid. But I can stop anytime I want.

    :j14 please, Shaggy, thanks:j

I hope everybody is OK. Sent off the first draft of a really difficult report on P@werpoint - as the old saying goes, 'death by P@werpoint'. Only the first draft, it'll probably come back a few times before final:eek::, but the pressure has been relieved, and I know I won't be diving into several bottles of wine this weekend now. :) I will never again be tempted to take on such a stressful project ;)

DD1 doing 2nd year exams at uni, then going to Australia for a year on July 10 :eek: DD2 doing A Levels. DD3 doing GCSEs. OMG :eek: Mr Pricey still working away during the week and coming back at weekends :):)

    Afternoon all

    12 please Shaggy!

Maman - have a lovely holiday!

Pricey - sounds busy but glad you got your project done.

Tracey_36 - just wanted to say a big well done! Sounds like your control was admirable

We are off away ourselves tomorrow for a long weekend on the Isle of Wight. So looking forward to going. All the animals were packed off on thier holibobs too....mums MOST impressed at having the rabbits and chicks!!:rotfl:

Been to see my friend today. She looked well, though tired. The consultant says she is recovering well from the op but that he is still awaiting results to see what action is needed next. Was lovely to see her though.

Anyway, probs wont get on in the morning. Have good weekends all. Catch you all next week.

    Miss P

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Another 1 down, so 4AFDs please. No one commented on my brake fluid joke. I'm quite offended.
