Well as predicted I cannot report any AF days over the weekend except today which I plan to be AF and drove to ub so no drinking to say thanks to BM for Doglet sitting

But I did nt drink more than a bottle of wine on any one day and didn't get nasty and no arguements so vast improvement all round really. I am so pleased I seem to have found the stop button for the excessive booze and somehow got to a nicer place when I do drink. I just hope it continues now I have found it and I don't lose it.

I will be AF again this weekend despite the fact that I will be visiting London to meet a friend from the USA on Saturday and then my beloved younger brother (he is 38 this year, I will be 46 and I still call him my kid brother ! :))

For everyone else, I can tell you that sometimes I have been tempted by alcohol but have so far resisted, this means that you can do it as well !

Keep the faith, I will keep my faith in you :A:A

    Hi Everyone
Just popping in to share some good news. Yesterday i finally got to my Weight Watchers goal after losing just over 4 and a half stones. :jIm absolutely delighted. Celebrated last night with some lovely fizz :) so no more AF to report here.

    well done mackeroo! :j:T

last night wasn't AF and it was horrific. was a friends birthday. started off civilised with nice glasses of wine and descended into buying 28 shots for £20 between four of us (after about 3 or 4 rounds of buy a drink and a shot for only 50p extra!) they were awful and even looking at the photos today we were all sat that like why on EARTH did we think that was a good plan?

Evilsquid - this is why bars etc need more strict regulation (in my old aged opinion lol!!) I've done my fair share of this - and regretted it!!

it is shocking! thinking about it now it seems like the most stupid thing we could have done but last night after we'd had a few i remember the thought process was basically "that's a fiver each for like 5 drinks worth of booze!:beer: go buy it!!" barmaid did ask how many of us were sharing it, but that was only to see how many variations she had to make up. i wonder if i'd have said it was all for me or between two of us if we would have been sold 12 shots each or 28 all to myself? the shocking thing is, I've a suspicion i would have been!

just as we got into town at about 6.30/7pm there was a group of girls staggering around. one of them ended up falling over and was sat in a heap on the pavement giggling to herself. her friends had to drag her across the road to go into the train station. none of her friends were that bad either so god knows how much she had!

Can't report any AFness this weekend but nothing OTT. Today I've been to SIL's birthday and I volunteered to drive. I've had a tiny glass of bubbly for a toast and that's it!

Still in the starting gate here - had a 2 glasses of wine with dinner and I wish I hadn't, although i did still get quite a lot done last night for a change.
Well, it's a new day and I'm determined for tonight.
    Trying to keep in budget.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
