Whoops forgot to add this in my previous post

Bearacus ~ im happy to 'take over' the SNC challenge when you are off on holiday. I cant remember exactly when you are offski tho?? The only thing is i cant do it week beginning the 12th March as im away that week on training but happy to do any other weeks. But if anyone else wants to step in and run it, please step forward, its not as scary as i first thought it would be x

    Bearacus away as follows
To everyone regarding the SNC I will not be here from the 7th of March till 22nd March and so there will not be an SNC for 3weeks
So if you are running it this week mackerroo sign me up for 3 please - I might be out Thursday and I haven't decided yet if I'll drink.

    Shaggyx
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Happy Monday all.
I'm still doing well, swam 60 lengths yesterday, did all my paperwork in the afternoon, (couldn't dig the garden as it was raining.) Prepared a large roast dinner for my son and girlfriend.
DID NOT DRINK ANY WINE THOUGH THERE WAS A BOTTLE IN THE CUPBOARD.

    Another 1AF
    so 4AF altogether for March
Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life!
No buying unnecessary clothes even if they are reduced.

I'm thinking 'shiny new week:)' rather 'Ugh Monday:('

I think I'm going to manage just 2 for the SNC this week due to meals out. Unlikely to be more than a single glass each time.

Morning all, I hope everyone had a good weekend. I had an accidental glass of wine on Thursday, but made up for it by having an AF Sunday. Today will also be AF and a gym session. I can't believe how much clearer my head is at work when I've not had anything to drink the night before!

I also managed to be AF last night
despite DH and friend starting on the cider at 1730 - I had an initial 'I want a glass of wine too' moment but made a large glass of fizzy squash and carried on with that all evening.

I didn't drink Friday either, and I had one small G&T Saturday when DH had a cider - vast improvement with the off switch.

One think I notice is I really don't like bad wine or rubbish G&T, I'd rather have one really nice drink than a bottle of mediocre alcohol.

That makes 3 AF days in March (which out of 4 ain't bad)

    Good afternoon all!

    2 please Shaggy!

Well done everyone - sounds like lots of moderate weekends going on out there.

OK here today - had a visit after work with a friend who's had her bunions done (ouch!!) and it was nice to relax and have a bit of a laugh :) And its very sunny here - so my mood is quite chipper this afternoon.

Evening all, 5 AF for March please Shaggy :j

Hope everyone has had a good Monday, and Corrie isn't driving you to drink ha ha

I have lost 5lbs in 2 weeks now, combination of not drinking and calorie counting - keeps me occupied in the evenings...:D

Amazing how much crap I ate whilst drinking - family bags of crisps etc...
Might treat myself this weekend, splash out on an orange juice lol

It's really helping to post on here, so ty everyone xxx
