Morning :hello:
1 more for the SNC please Bearacus.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Morning all.
Another AF last night.
Am determined to stay AF tonight too, as its Friday. Not going shopping today, so wont go near the supermarket and dont have any alcohol in the house (apart from a bottle of vodka in the cupboard thats been there since November as i HATE vodka!!).0 -
Morning all
Feeling bit down today - had rather too much wine last night, which coincided with my MIL being her usual interfering self and culminated with me having a row with OH and being really horrible to him. Feeling terrible this morning, although OH says he's fine. I feel like I'm stuck in a vicious circle and not sure what to do. Been here before haven't I??:o
Sorry to whinge - theres people on here with real problems to deal with and I'm waffling on.
Rachelww - hope your mum is ok

Morning MissP. Sorry to hear the MIL from hell has poked her nose in again! Please try to be strong and not let her turn you to the booze to blot her out. I'd suggest you make a plan for the weekend and do your very best to stick to it. So if your plan is not to have a drink till Sunday with lunch then just keep focused on that. That would mean having a plan to cope with tonight and tomorrow. What about getting a good book or some crafts or :EasterBunsorted for tonight? I've just seen the 'Mr Piggy is a very lucky man' post on the screen. Remember that. He is!!! :A0

Thanks Maman, you are lovely
. I just feel so awful for how I spoke to him. Amazed he puts up with me sometimes
.
So, plan of action this weekend is to keep myself busy. Going to avoid alcohol like the plague! I have several books I got from the library yesterday so they should keep me occupied. Plus I think the knitting may make a reappearance.

Right, so here is the plan for an AF weekend. I have had a really irritating cold sniffle thing for 4 weeks now, I cannot shift it so this is the last chance for it to improve and get lost before I give in and see what the quack says. I am planning AF all weekend and early nights to try and persuade my eyes to climb back out of my skull - very frightening sight first thing in the morning. All caused as I can't breathe properly and wake up at least twice a night coughing and spluttering - not elegant.
Tonight I will clean the downstairs of the house, stock check, meal plan, shopping list write and then call my friend with a glass of squash and fizzy water in my hand
Tomorrow I will go to the gym then attack the front flower bed and maybe go get a few colourful plants to brighten it up, level the mountain of ironing I have acquired and NOT iron my hand this time, scrub the rest of the house, clean the car and then self manicure and pedicure - all with trusty glasses of squash and fizzy water.
Sunday I am not too sure what the plan will comprise as yet but dog walking, gym and sadly food shopping will be done along with any thing I don't get done on Saturday. I will also have a small sleep in the afternoons if I am tired so hopefully I will feel more like a human and less like a zombie next week.Start info Dec11

13, please, Shaggy, thanks
I'm determined not to have any wine tonight because meeting old friends for lunch tomorrow and I do not want to look like a bloated old wino. For several years, I used to play tennis every Sat morning, which meant that I could not drink wine on Friday nights, but that finished a few weeks ago, and I started to get right back into my old habits, so determined to reign that one in.
I'll allow myself a few glasses tomorrow evening, while DD2 staying with DD1 (who'd have thought it, a few years ago?),and DD3 (the baby) out for her 16th birthday meal with her friends.
Have a lovely weekend, everybody0
