Hello, well seem to have slipped back onto the AF on a pre-work night routine quite happily even though the weekend was a little more indulgent than anticipated.
Cleggie I know how it feels to be AF during week but weekends are more of a struggle. I find myself really looking forward to a Friday night and a glass of wine. I have managed to cut back a lot but that siren call is difficult to avoid. I need to get to the couple of glasses RELIABLY stage, it's a bit hit and miss at the moment.
So this weekend I am going to try and get to the gym as DH is working Friday night, and hope the endorphin glow fights the wine siren. Failing this I will visit next-door to share a bottle to save the whole lot going into my mouth.Start info Dec11

Hi all and thanks for all the well wishes xx. I have so far only managed a pathetic 1 AFD so far this month.
Mum was in hospital for 12 days with an infection and came out last monday. Then yesterday she had to admitted again but this time to the specialist hospital in London which is well over an hour away from us. Was absolutely exhausted yesterday as it was a very long day. She should be having her op today and hopefully they'll find where the infection is and wether or not the can cure it, which the last hospital did not. She was very confused last night, not surprising as in the morning her temperature had been over 39 again.
I probably won't go up tonight as I didn't see the boys yesterday, but will try to tomorrow after work. I have no idea about what my alcohol consumption will be this month. All I know is that I'm very stressed, but it still helps 'chatting' to you guys xx
Millions of hugs from me! You deserve a medal never mind a drink.:A
Hope everything goes well today.Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life!
No buying unnecessary clothes even if they are reduced.0 -

What a lovely way to express it. I'm sure it's what we all feel rachel. Do come by and 'chat' any time you can. I think it's sometimes easier to 'talk' to 'virtual' friends. Sending positive vibes.0 -

Limadelta - well done on 44 days. As others have said, you have to take the credit for it yourself. Its YOU that did it. :T PLease feel free to come back and post anytime.
Mollypolly - Helloooo! Hows that lovely little grandson?:)
Rachelww - Many ((hugs)). You, and your mum, are really going through it at the moment. Thinking of you.
Bearacus - 1 on the SNC please!
Busy couple of days here. Mum has been very poorly. Doctor thinks its a water infection (complication of diverticulitis) so gave her tablets and she is improving. She still had Piglet for me today (half term) which was a relief. Then this afternoon me and Piglet have been busy decorating the dinner table with hearts etc for dinner tonight. Busy cooking a nice roast for OH. Won't be AF tonight as bought myself a bottle of Rose to have with dinner.
Hope everyone has a lovely evening, whatever thier plans

Hi everyone
I was AF last night and will be tonight too. So 2 for the SNC please Bearacus.
DH came home after a couple of weeks offshore last night and he immediately has a beer. Can't blame him for that really. But I swear every second, it's fancy a glass of wine, have a beer. So tonight I said to him straight away not to ask again because I'm working tomorrow and don't have a drink on school nightsI think he got the message!
Have a really sore thoat, so once the kids are in bed I'm going to have hot milk and honey and take a couple nurofen. Hopefully I'll get a good nights sleep. DH's wondering hands woke me last night ;) Again, it's a few weeks he's been away, but I would much rather just sleep on AF nights because it feels soooooo good to wake up refreshed. OMG I sound like such a bore :rotfl:
Much love XNeed to start again0 -
