Thankyou Recovering Alcoholic ... twas beautiful and just what I needed this morning.

Peterbunny :Twell done you.... I remember the I WANT THE WHOLE BOTTLE feeling well

Thankyou for kind words... I'm very wobbly at the moment.

Had a good day though moving bedrooms around in our house and de cluttering (very necessary). DD6 now has her own bedroom :) and very happy. Still more moving to be done tomorrow.
Trying to curb my eating which has become somewhat manic - even if I limit myself to eating apples, I find myself eating apples non stop.... it's very strange. When I stop myself eating it sometimes feels like a huge relief to have stopped.
I've never had a weight problem and never been particularly interested in food so it's a bit strange.

    11 AFDs please Shaggy

one month alcohol free :j:j:j Acute almost permanent indigestion - gone, dreariness - gone, cash in pocket - lots. Sleeping better than I did to start with and confident it will improve.

    Hello,

I haven't been on for ages but have slipped back into bad habits so could do with being part of the group.

AF since Sunday. Not sure what the future holds.

  • 8 please, Shaggy, thanks. I was so pleased to see that I have got a heart next to my total :T- been feeling rather low, following a pointless binge on Friday night. I am going to see my darling DD1 in Leeds today - she's at uni there. She's planning to go to Australia to study for a year - oh no!!!!!!:eek::eek: Everybody says it is a great opportunity, but fills me with dread. DD2 goes to uni in September, which I'm also dreading - definitely got empty nest syndrome and looking to fill it with new interests.

Does anybody know if I can take unopened bottles of wine back to Mr T's? I have 4 bottles of pinot sitting there beaming like black holes, and would rather they weren't , so I've got the receipts (recent) and will have a go tomorrow.

Have a good day, everybody :)

    Hi all.

I wasnt AF last night, although i stopped at 2 glasses.
I took the kids to the theatre to see Horrible Histores. It was FAB! But just before we went in, i tried to unlock my car, and the key snapped in the lock!
So, we went into the show, and then phoned the car recovery people in the interval. Luckily, they turned up just after it had finished so we still got to watch the whoe show.

So, we arrived home in a recovery truck at 7pm last night, cold, hungry and stressed!!

Anyway, i hope you all have a great Sunday, we are having a nice chilled out one!
