    Morning everyone,

    Welcome MrsBunny.

Didn't get on here yesterday as I braved the sales with DD1 and DD2. They spent vouchers that they had for Christmas and I bought a loaf of bread and some cotton buds!

Today I am finally staying in and tidying. The house was tidied for the party on Christmas Eve but has remained a tip since then and I am fed up with it.

Hugs to Lou, as Cranky says everyone is run off their feet by family stuff at this time of year, and I am sure that your friends will be back in touch once the festivities are over. I haven't seen the friend who I have a cup of tea with nearly every day for over a week as we are all so busy.

Hugs to everyone else in need especially LW and Beth.

We finished up the remains of the turkey yesterday (ok, there is now a turkey curry in the freezer), so today we start on the ham. The bread I bought yesterday is the only food that I have bought since Christmas Eve and we have enough food to keep us going for a good while yet!:D

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)
  • Morning everyone.

I am planning on something akin to a PJ day only with the having a shower and getting dressed bit thrown in :)
Nowt going on here except for the slow packing up of Christmas decs, shall leave the tree up for new year and then take it down.

No idea what's for tea :o

OS content? Hmmm not sure actually :rotfl:

Hugs and spoons all round xx

    Lou I will PM you.

    Morning everyone :hello:

One of my OS New Year Resolutins is to spend more time on here to provide me with more inspiration, so I may as well get in practise back on the daily thread. ;) It's some time since my last post on the daily!

I visited some friends yesterday and other friends turned up complete with some of their own home-reared meat (they're farmers). So, in the freezer I now have lamb chops, gammon, sausages and bacon. To think that I was thinking about doing a "big shop", including visiting our lovely butcher! However, I now need to do a meal plan for the next week as it's back to school for me on Tuesday!

DH is at work today, but it's his last day in his current job as he starts his new job :j :j on Tuesday. Meal plans will be key, so I'll be routing around on this site for ideas... Plus I'll have to go back to actually noting down how much we spend. Our weekly spend on all groceries has crept up over the past couple of years. :(

Right, I'd better get on. I've got a few bits to take to the charity shop. Books that we've read and don't want to keep either get put on www.readitswapit.co.uk or are taken to my school staffroom for our bookswap shelves.

Anyway, I'll bore you all again another day!

That's ok. We're still your friends and your friends are still your friends. You could have hundreds of friends Lou, but none of them can get inside your head and make things right. Only you can do that, but we're right here with you while you do.

i am angry with hubby and i took it out on the wrong person. he has decided he has had enough (again) and has gone to stay with my frined. the same friend who had things to deal with yesterday morning thats why she wasnt responding to me. alarm bells are ringing because hubby has turned to another woman in the past for comfort. not really an affair but just lots of flirting etc. guess he needed his ego stroked. i cant make sense of any of it :(

tru sounds like a good book, i'll have to look into it! i've just started veg growing for this year... germintating seeds in the airing cupboard :D
julieg can't you go online and arrange redelivery or have them sent to a post office closer to you or closer to her?

I go back to London today :( When I'm there I don't want to leave, but when I'm here I don't want to leave either! House sharing is the most stressful living arrangement (aside from the obvious being homeless) I look forward to graduating and living a simpler life where there are not five different ways of doing things all competing. I'm mostly packed, just need to find space to stuff a few more things in. And er have a bath! I was hoping my new seeds would arrive before I left but it doesn't seem likely.
I shall get myself back into the OS mind set on the way home, have a flick through my new cookbooks and make a to do list for this week. Other than basic cleaning, cooking etc I mostly just need to revise for my exams. Have a good day all ((hugs))
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:

I'd be annoyed too in your place. Very annoyed. Imagine if we all tried that. Oh I'm fed up of being a mum today, I think I'll just wonder off and do something else until I fancy being a mum again. Your friend should send him back. I would.
