2nd NSD for me today :j - the car is desperate for petrol but I was determined I wasn't giving in lol...drove to work and back with fuel light on - might even chance tomorrow too :cool:

Woohoo! Managed to nab NSD#3 today which also gives me my 3 in a row! Yay! :j Had to overcome temptation to get my eyebrows done though.... will have to try and hide them with my hair/glasses until I get them done. They look a right mess at the moment!

Can you please put me down for a new target of 4 in a row for me - will give this a try next week?

Glad you're enjoying the challenge. Personally, if the money was given as a gift I'd treat that as a not-spend (assuming you don't use any other money on the day you spend it)

Well NSD #2 in the bag for me :j did have to pick up tin foil for sarnies (well to wrap sarnies in, not actual tin foil sarnies :rotfl:) but that came out of the imfamous change pot and didn't count (cos OH puts the change in it ) just enough there too - close one!

Tomorrow prob won't be a NSD as it's my boss' b'day on Fri and need to get a card and cake. I could also do with some sugar scrub from JS (so can use nectar points) so will do my best to use as little 'real' money as possible

Oh, talking of JS - you all remember my friend who said some not very nice things when I asked for her cc points, then got all excited not so long ago about a Mr T coupon don't you? Well today she declared she was off to Sainsbobs as she had a £1.23 brand match to use and it ran out today...I swear I nearly fainted :eek: I did suggest to her that their basics cotton wool pads are as good as any other I've used (cheapest about) and even got a thanks. Things a little difficult between us atm, think it's me that mainly has my nose out of joint, she's got a new man who she's very happy with (and I am pleased for her, I'm not a total cow) but they are moving to the next step and it seems like she never has time for me anymore - which is silly I know but I just feel a bit left out Still at least my :money: ways are rubbing off on her

This will probably end abruptly tomorrow as I will try and get tickets for the Blues game. Stupid website won't let you buy online unless you signed up a month ago!

When I get money for Christmas/my birthday, I don't class spending that as a spend - unless I add any extra cash to it. The alternative would have been to give the giver of the money (normally my parents) a very details shopping list, and hopefully receive exactly what I wanted/needed on the special day.

Rising, as others have said, you will find the right dog for you. It's only by a series of coincidences and unusual events that we lucked out in finding our girls. I'd been waiting so long for one and now we have two. :D:D

NSD No 3 today, only went out to walk DD's dog. Couldn't take the twin terrors as they might have been blown away. :rotfl:
