NSD number 1 today
Yesterday I did a little online shopping - a couple of t-shirts from M&S for me and some trousers and a top for DS from Adams. Will resist further online shopping today and have joined the clothing challenge to stop me from going mad in the sales!'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'0 -

Hello, may I join too please? I'm on my way to NSD 2 out of the minimum of 10 that I'd like to achieve this month. I'm going for 100 over the year as I seem to have an addiction to spending, even if its just on a loaf of bread or a "bargain" in the supermarket!!
Thanks risingfromtheashes for pointing me here0 -

Managed to nab NSD 1 after all, despite ordering a new phone!! :j
It is a free handset, and I'll get cash-back from quidco!! So I actually made money! :j Not going to count it until I get it in my account though.Looks like I will actually get £6.50 if I recycle my old phone too...waiting until I get the new one first!
Have a good evening everyone x

Morning gang!
Reporting #1, no spends yesterday.
Had a lovely day - unexpected visit from sis and BIL and M&D so that was a nice surprise. OH's brother phoned him ( you may remember my tale of the bad feeling after MIL funeral) That was the first contact for 11 mths, so at least the ice is broken and bridges can (hopefully) be start to be built.
That's news Jinty! I echo what Spoon says, hopefully their relationship will get better from here....
Spendy day for me i'm afraid, but nothing that i didn't set out to get, which i'm really pleased about.
I've studiously avoided even looking in the sales, & just got a couple of new black vests for under stuff at work (only £3 each) & some new cleanser & moisturiser, as my skins been awful recently & my new years resolution is to take more care of it (as i'm getting old  & need to keep the wrinkles at bay!!).
Thats it, no more spending now for the rest of the week, the only thing i will need is to pay for is my stop smoking prescription, but as it saves me far more than it costs i have decided i am not counting that!February NSD challenge 5/150 -

Spendy today but was planned:D. Remembered my list:D but DH tagged along too and decided his life would be incomplete without input from Mr Kipling:mad:(despite our have enough food to feed an army)
Still, my birthday tomorrow so definitely should be declaring my 2nd nsd (or DH will be in trouble again:rotfl:)"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. "

Funnily enough, I always spend more at the supermarket if OH decides he's going to join me too Chrissie!
NSD #2 for me today, I was successful in not popping to the shop for additional bits of food for our guest. The test if going to be when I'm back at work, and OH's birthday on Thurs!

Today was supposed to be an nsd BUT...... DH went to Mr M's with DD and bought some veg and a cucumber. So much for his " We're not buying anything till the money goes in on the 25th" :rotfl:
Seeing as how he'd broken the day, me and DD went to Ald! to look for a 4 bird roast to put up for Easter. There were a few left so I got one and a turkey. Dead chuffed with the turkey, it was priced at 9.99 on the freezer, went through the till at 6.99. DD had one too and was very happy with the price. :j
Good job all the xmas stuff has gone out of our freezers.:)S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50
