    *dashes in*

Sorry I'm so late - took me a while to clear up after the virtual party, and to calm that nice Mr Connery down after Jinty had been at his kilt...poor wee traumatised chappie...took a gallon of sweet tea and lots of biscuits before he could stand on his own two feet!

...oh, and which bright spark thought it would be funny to feed Hubert those devil sprouts?!!

...and not to be a moaning minnie...but don't think I'm going to be extracting that TARDIS from the wall on my lonesome...!

I swear, we're never getting the rental deposit back on that venue - what would Martin say??

Anyway... *brushes back sweaty fringe and hopes no-one notices the donkey poo under her fingernails*...

Thanks ever so to Spoon, BDINI and LMH for sorting out the new thread, and count me in for 15 NSDs please - just missed the target last month, but this month it shall be mine....oh yes, it shall be mine!

    Morning gang!

    Reporting #1, no spends yesterday.

Had a lovely day - unexpected visit from sis and BIL and M&D so that was a nice surprise. OH's brother phoned him ( you may remember my tale of the bad feeling after MIL funeral) That was the first contact for 11 mths, so at least the ice is broken and bridges can (hopefully) be start to be built.

Today I may need to pop out for some veg as I want to make soup for lunches this week.
Other than that I am going to do some batch cooking - slow cook chilli and a pot of bolognese sauce for HM January dinners!

    Have a great day everyone:)

  • I reckon NSD #2 for me today. Having bf's sister round for 'Christmas' - this will be Christmas number 4! So a nice meal, some presents and board games should keep me occupied and away from the shops!

Sadly I can already say that tomorrow will not be a NSD for me - I got my first car in November which broke down in the middle of nowhere last night. I fixed it (hurray!) as it was something simple, but I really need to get some emergency type bits for future (which I will hopefully never need to use) and something for a more permanent fix so it doesn't happen again!

    Pink :)
