Good morning folks from a very icy NI and a VERY hungover red:eek:
I hope everyone is well as I've yet to read the posts and looking forward to the weekend. I have no idea if today will be an NSD and would say probably not, but we'll see and I'll report back later.
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!

Got to have a spend today, DH needs new bike lights, so walking the mile and a half to Mr A to save on the petrol and get a little of this stunning fresh (if cold) air we have around at the moment, then off to walk the pooches, they love it when the ground isn't soggy, they get to have a good run over the fields:j
Working tonight, so tomorrow will be my #13 NSD, as I will be sleeping;) won't declare until tomorrow night, because who knows what tomorrow will bring.
    Sealed pot (who knows?)

All debts paid in 2013 :T, apart from overdraft :(, now to tackle that:)
    £3760.00/£
DEBT FREE FOR CHRISTMAS 2014 please:j

Hya folks, what a busy week I've had! Should be doing lots today, but don't seem to have much energy left. I have sorted some of my finances and need to look at setting up a new bank account for my all my self-employed income. I have a couple of cheques to put in to get it started, so want to get them in asap.

Managed to pick up NSD#17 on Thursday, and declaring today as no NSD#18, so I have reached my target!! :j:j

Think I will increase my target to 20 spoon, hopefully I can make it :D

((((Hugs)))) to you Dragon, hope it's not serious x

Well done on standing your corner jinty, as others have said, you have done the right thing. :T:T

Off to get some crafting done to clear my head...will look at bank acounts later. :o

Have a good weekend everyone xx

:hello:Hi poohbear59 and welcome to the NSD challenge, you're in good company here as, no doubt, beanie has already told you.

Do you want me to add you to the front page for the rest of the month or just join in and be inspired by all of us:rotfl::rotfl: (don't read Kerri's posts though or she'll lead you astray with all her tales of bargains;)).

Feel free to join in with the chat and general frivolity/lunacy here.. there are only two rules:

    1. We do not "fail".. ever...

    2. Err.. can't remember this one...:D

Have a look at the post If puts up at the top of each page, that'll give you some ideas and ask away if you need to know anything else.

    spoon xx

Thank you for the welcome :)
I will try my own challenge for now and then join in next month please Spoony. Hopefully I will be inspired by all of you :D

Oh and Spoony, our second rule is NEVER EVER eat or drink anything cooked (or uncooked) by Igor on one of our virtual outings ... actually, that brings in rule 3 - never give Hubert (Poohbear59, he's our donkey) anything cooked or uncooked by Igor - there have been some disasterous consqeuences including me copping a cleaning bill for a (virtual) NY taxi after SOMEONE (Spoony) left me behind to break Hurbert out of jail....that's on NSD outing I don't want to repeat - I think the FBI have taken me off their most wanted list at last

I think I have a lot of catching up to do. It feels like joining a soap with a slap stick twist to it.

It was amazing to join and find the winnie the pooh theme too. My favourite is eeyore so don't know why I am pooh :o

I think as we have direct debits and standing orders going out all over the month I will not count them in NSDs. Every Friday I go to town with friends and family, we have a swim, lunch and shopping. So, if that sounds resonable I will spend on a Friday only. Not sure how I put that in a challenge, maybe as there are 4 Fridays in February I could aim to have 29-4=25 NSDs or would that be cheating? Then it will really concentrate my mind. Today more things arrived in the post from Amazon and a catalogue. yesterday was my new LBM and life is already changing.

I will put some cash in a pot on a Friday for gym (£3) each week (
I have been recommended by my GP) and I have a regular saver for car tax, birthdays etc. If I put my £3 in a pot and go to the gym as often as I did last year I will have about £150 by the end of the year :rotfl:

One of the things I am sure I will enjoy the most is the virtual outings :D
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Another NSD yesterday, so that's 10 I think. May have a NSD on Monday but of course will have to see. Quite pleased really.

  • If Beanie's getting the bus would it be better to pick somewhere in town near the bus station? There's a couple of pubs in the Omni Centre that serve coffee...

Omni would be fine for me too - not sure if I'll take the car in yet or get the P&R ....... Beanie as you''ve got the furthest to travel (and on buses) do you want to have a look at timetables and see when would be the best time for you and we'll fit in?
Good morning folks from a very icy NI and a VERY hungover red:eek:

Ohhhhhh dear, hope you had a good evening Red!:) (and are feeling a bit better now .....)

Spendy day for me as predicted - liquid gold and some groceries .... will try harder tomorrow! Enjoy the rest of the day everyone - lovely and sunny here.:)

  • I'm stuck on 15 NSDs. Will maybe make tomorrow a NSD. Doing some bits to the house so keep needing to buy bits and pieces of tools etc at the moment. Not going to make my target of 20 but it was always ambitious. Never mind!
