Evening all. Bagged another nsd today even though I wanted to spend. I wanted to get the paper that had the £5 voucher for Ald! in it but DH says we aren't going shopping yet. Why are men so bl**dy minded?
    So that's NSD No 16.
    Hugs to all in pain.
    Be Well.

Many apologies to all the men on here, it's only people like my "DH" who are so annoying. When I want to buy anything, as in stocking up with groceries, he says "we're not buying all that, if anything happens to us somebody else will have it." His favourite saying is "if I'm still here (next year / xmas or whatever). 39 years I've put up with that. It might not reach 40. :rotfl:

He's also ruined an nsd again by wanting a loaf of bread again.

    Hugs to all.

marmiterulesok - it sounds like the bank have put the money into a 'held' status (my DD's bank do that sometimes - means she can't pull it out even though it shows as still being in her account when she's looking at the balance, but at least it means her rent or whatever won't bounce), in which case I'd not count it as a spend until the bank actually pass the money over to the recipient (which it sounds like will be Monday for you)

Feeling a bit thick here, but I think that I follow you.:oThey have actually taken the money out of my account,so it isn't 'on hold' as far as I can see.The transaction is dated for this Monday. This happens quite a lot with me when I have DDs that are due out on a Monday(or if it's in the week, for the next day).Hope that makes sense.

At least it hasn't put me in the red. It's a first time that my rent's been taken out before I've been paid though.

Anyway, enough of that!Off to watch an episode of 'Rising Damp'...
  • Flying visit, will catch up properly tomorrow, hut just wanted to say thank you Spoon, i love my prize!! :D

From TK Maxx? They sound exactly like the ones I'm salivating over - mary jane / brogue style ones with a little 2 1/2 inch heel?

They were from TK Maxx but are flat with a wee ankle strap.
