Hi Rising,
Yes, am beginning to feel better and was at a retirement dinner, so it was totally self inflicted:o. I may have to give wine a miss for the rest of the day though, although possibly too early to tell:)If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Didn't beanie warn you about our outings and assorted animals. We have two aliens lurking around somewhere - though they were forcibly separated from Hubert in Edinburgh and I'm not sure I've seen them since then , maybe Igor put them in his casserole pot:Dpoohbear59 wrote: »It was amazing to join and find the winnie the pooh theme too. My favourite is eeyore so don't know why I am pooh
I'm a huge Pooh fan - my avatar will tell you which one is my favourite:D. We don't have a Pooh theme every month, it just happens to be A A Milne's birthday in January and I like to keep the prizes associated with something that happens during the month as far as possiblepoohbear59 wrote: »IOne of the things I am sure I will enjoy the most is the virtual outings
Yep.. I think that goes without saying:rotfl:The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Spend day today as predicted -
Spent £112, but got a new skirt, jacket, three lovely tops, some tights and knicks - total should have been £175, but with crafty couponing I saved a decent amount there I thought. That's the most I've spent on myself in ages, and I am thrilled with all I bought!
Then I bought some bits on Body $hop site using the 40% off code on the grabbit board - replaced my manky makeup brushes. Ooh er, I'm turning into a laydee.......!
The rest of the afternoon I have been researching phone and bband deals - Sky has turned out to be the best.
Have been with Talk Talk for years, and my contract ended this month. What they offered me to stay was ridiculous!
Should be an NSD tomorrow - I promise!!!;)

I have veered off the menu plan today.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

My understanding of DDs from personal and business experience is:
Money for DDs is requested from your account x days before it's due to go out, the "x" depends on your DD agreement. Some companies request the money 5 days before, some nearer to the payment due date.
Once that request is accepted by your bank, the money is allocated to the payee. It can still show as available on the account balance, this depends on the bank.
x days before the payment is due into the payee's account the money is taken from your bank account, the "x" depends on how long the banks take to transfer the money between themselves. Mostly this is the same day but when the payment is due on Monday it can be taken out on the Friday before to ensure it hits the payee's account on the date it is due.
The DD agreement(s) you signed should give you the numbers for the "x" figures.
Hope that helps and hope you enjoyed "Rising Damp". That is one of my favourite programmes ever, it never fails to make me laugh:D
spoon xx
Thanks, that helps a bit.I've also been paid overnight, even though the date is for Monday,so can't complain!
Yes,I love 'Rising Damp'. I could watch it again and again.I've never watched 'Reginald Perrin' though,I'm ashamed to say....Hoping that I might it this year as a birthday present.
Almost forgot,today is #17 please!0
