I have had a totally stressful week and have been eating for Scotland & have the great desire to just spend spend spend~that will make me feel better yes? :rotfl:Scarey for mehow it would be to be back in old habits so easily.
& as we all know its like loosing weight~much easier to eat than to loose.
Much easier to spend than pay it back.
    So dont beat yourself up.

    Spoony~new target of 22 please.Many thanks.

    Thanks beanie x

You've hit the nail on the head with what you've said as well. It's so easy to either eat or spend when we're under stress or feeling down in the dumps. The easy part is resisting the first time.... the hard part is carrying on with it for the rest of your life......

    Hope you're OK beanie xx

Happy Birthday Cheryl and ms_night_ryder, I'm not as good with the icons as solventsoon, but big birthday hugs and lots of cake :)

Right, I've had a few days of spending, so today will be a NSD, I want to get to my target before the end of the month and realise that time is now starting to run away to the end of the month - thank goodness!!

As planned, the Mr A order arrived yesterday and I sent some substitutions back (why send lamb when I ordered pork???) it came to less than I thought but I am one meal down in the meal plan. I'm sure I can cobble something together though :)

Back on the NSD wagon today :)

Happy Birthday Cheryl and ms_night_ryder. Hope you have a fantastic day.

    Everyone else - have a great Monday x x

Yesterday remained an NSD - so that takes me up to #13 :)
Today should be a spend day - I'd allowed for getting myself a treat, but my car breakdown is also due for payment today (just need to check which card it's gone off/account it's gone out of - they should all have balances to allow it to be paid, but I realised as I got up this morning I wasn't sure which I need to check to make sure it's been paid as I didn't recognise the 'last 4 digits' on my renewal notification!)

Many thanks for the birthday wishes x Had a text from DS1 just before 8am wishing me a 'Happy getting Older Day' :rotfl:

My chap came up trumps - he's definitely working on proving himself to be a keeper ;)

On Thursday he asked if I fancied going out for an Italian on Saturday night, and was absolutely fine when I told him that (much as I appreciated the thought) I'd be much too twitchy waiting for the call to enjoy it.
I then got the (what turned out to be a false alarm) call from DD not long before he'd be planning to leave for mine on Saturday, so I sent him a text to let him know it was looking like I could get called out later that day/over night. He replied asking if I still wanted him to come over, and when I sent back that it was up to him to make the call as he was doing the driving between his and mine he promptly replied that he'd be heading over very shortly :)
As he left late yesterday evening he mentioned there was a bag down the side of the couch for today - so I stayed up until after midnight 'cos I wanted to open the pressie ;)

When he comes over I often have the radio on (listen to Re@l Radio) and there are a number of tracks that I turn the volume up for / sing along to. A couple of weeks ago he'd teased me about this, and I mentioned in passing that I was going to have to check out the latest N0w Th@t's Wh@t I C@ll Mvsic CD as I suspected a lot of them would be on that - but in chats about this site had also mentioned I'm doing the Frugal Living challenge (which means I have budgets for everything) and had already blown my 'everything else' category for January so it would be next month before I could 'afford' to shop around for it.

Guess what I got from him..... Yep, I'm now listening to NTWICM 80 at a fairly high volume - and I think ALL the tracks I crank up the radio for are on it :T :T
I now know why he seemed to be grinning/chuckling away to himself when I was turning up the volume while listening to the radio at various points yesterday :D

Just need to get it into iTvnes and onto my iP0d so that I can listen to it in the car on my way to the hospital when I get 'the call' now ;)
