Hey Everyone,
Starting to get really bored of people touting their referral links now, lol. Can we all please listen to Aesop!!! She is the boss, after all!
Great day for me todayI had a loan from my Credit Union to help pay for xmas last year (:o), I just paid it off by standing order each week, never actually going in, or checking the account. Gave them a ring last week as I've been checking all of my old accounts, and I'd apparently overpaid my loan so had £98.10 sat in the account :j:j:j Collected today and cashed at the post office. Never had any joy with things like this before so I'm very happy at the moment
Also £1 from using my Advantage card points to buy some cough medicine. Couldn't believe the price of some of them - most were almost a fiver! Thank goodness for Boots own brand, lol.0 -

£70 cashback from Quidco. We bought car insurance from Aviva with the offer back in September. Despite Aviva's questionable reputation for dealing with claims it was a calculated risk but we have 10 years no claims discount so a measured one, and that incentive persuaded us.
You may want to re-think this while you are still in the cooling off period. We were with Aviva for a couple of years - we went over to them with over 10 years no claims.
A couple of years ago, we swapped over to the AA who were cheaper but Aviva would only confirm 5 years NCB, because that is their maximum discount. AA's maximum discount is 9 years - one of the highest, so although the insurance was cheaper, we still ended up paying £100 more than it should have cost due to losing the additional NCB.0 -
Thanks Aesop
Just wanted to post to show off my new medal, lol.Only just noticed it.
