I have £9 to add from ebay sales, more things ending later and in a few days time. A while ago I agreed to give a friend £1 per item for her girls clothes and anything I made over that I could keep (it's the loan from friend in my signature) so all the money goes towards that at the moment. I also bought 2 bin bags full of next baby girl clothes advertised on a local face book group for £30 the other day which I think I can make money on hopefully!Next- £486.25 Barclaycard £600
October make £10 a day - £183.90/155 :j0 -
Great day for me today
I had a loan from my Credit Union to help pay for xmas last year (:o), I just paid it off by standing order each week, never actually going in, or checking the account. Gave them a ring last week as I've been checking all of my old accounts, and I'd apparently overpaid my loan so had £98.10 sat in the account :j:j:j Collected today and cashed at the post office. Never had any joy with things like this before so I'm very happy at the moment
Thats great news! :beer:Thanks Aesop
Just wanted to post to show off my new medal, lol.
Congrats!! :cool:what a horrific day. I went upstairs to put some clothes away and came down 10mins later to an open front door...and no sign of my 2yr old daughter. I have never run so fast in my life, up and down roads near my house. I was looking for 10mins before I ran home to get the car then searched for another 5 in the car. I soon realised I wouldnt find her on my own and without a soul around, I rang the police. I drove back home like a mad woman and just as i abandoned the car a lady came bounding towards me; 'Are you looking for a little girl?' I couldnt thank her enough! The police arrived as we ran back to her house 4 streets away and the copper was really happy, he said the chopper was just about to take off to help us search! The lady said she found her sat in a puddle crying in her garden. I cant tell you how relieved I was to see her, she came bounding towards me for a cuddle. This was at 1.30 and Im still a nervous wreck now! I kept the front door locked all day and only unlocked it to take a parcel...and then forgot to lock it again. And breathe!
Funny enough, not a penny made today!
Nat a similar thing happened to me a couple of years back. I then went through a stage of keeping doors locked at all times. Please realise this is not your fault. Thats kids for you. Big hugs for you tonight hun xxxSlimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

Nat that must have been such a scare. So glad it all worked out OK.
Well money to report... Am still off work for Christmas, so spent the afternoon in town posting ebay items and paying off a chunk of my loan with tax refund money :j. I waited for a train instead of taking the bus £1 saved, got a sandwich from morrisions rather than an M&S lunch (which is what I normally do when in town) call it £3 saved. From ebaying the 2 items I've already been paid for and posted minus postage and fees £1.46 & £0.98.
So that's £6.44 to add to my total:D0 -
I'm looking at my HUGE box of stuff in the bedroom of stuff to list on ebay... And i am SOOOO bored of listing clothes!

Hi all
Nearly forgot to update:
£37 p/t wages received :T
i did really well with my weekly shop today - i managed to avoid *nearly* all the offers  sticking pretty much to my list but couldn't resist the pasta on offer - hope to stock up next week tooSo overspent by less than £1 :T:T:T Which is brilliant as i'm on a strict food shopping budget for the next 3 months (self-imposed) the savings i'm making i'm not counting on here as i seem to only count extra income generated for this challenge rather than the money i've not spent. Anyways i am very proud of my little self for making a list and not just piling all the offers into my trolley *pats self on back*
In fairness my freezer is chocca, loads of stuff in the fridge and so many tins / dried goods that they won't fit in all the cupboards - so we won't be going hungry but i'm trying to use the things i've bought for us to use first - just to save a bit of money at the mo.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Evening All, I just posted off 2 old ink cartridges... they should send me a £4ish cheque. Better then throwing them away! Won't count the money until I get the cheque though. But they sent the envelopes so all free postage! lol...:D9 years and counting0
