  • Right, finally some actual money to add!

    £9.08 interest :T

Nat - so glad your little one was found safe and sound - how worrying!

Can I also second zapper - not posted my parcel yet so can't recommend (yet) but they accepted a few of my CDs including singles that music magpie wouldnt accept and was great to mix in books, cds and dvds, hoping for a tidy sum next week!

Awww......Nat .....what a day hey? My little niece did the exact same thing when she was 2. Monkeys or what!! Hope you are now having a relaxing evening.

My youngest DS was up all last night throwing up (nice) so I have been at home with him today. DH ended up in hospital after visiting the GP with some swelling around his eye. They have sent him home now. They have excluded anything dodgy, but he has to have an MRI scan in 2 weeks just to be sure. Anyway.....I digress!! Talk about bring it on for 2012!

Made my first sale of the year on Ebay. Will be around £5 profit which I will add after getting proper postage cost tomorrow. Massive sympathy to all those with ebay mountains facing them. My dinning table is covered (I mistakenly thought if I brought it all downstairs I would do something about it!!). Little steps - will list 3 more things tonight and that money will slowly creep up.

Back to work tomorrow. Think can cope with a 1 day week!! Can anyone recommend a site for cashing in gold? Got a few bits of broken necklaces from years ago, odd ear rings etc that I have not got round to getting rid of yet.

Have a good (and fairly event free!) evening.
  • How sad am I, I'm back on woohoo bingo trying to get one voucher before I ditch it.....only got 29 gold. :rotfl:

I used hatton garden metals when i had some gold to sell and i found the amount they gave was reasonable and seem to be well reccommended.

  • Hi all,
Nat, I'm so glad that you found her safe and sound! What a relief!

I've got £450 to add today! Had a refund on a deposit for something, and I was genuinely unsure whether I would get anything at all back, so I'm counting this if no-one minds? This takes me over target already, so if it's ok, I'd like to double my target to £620? :)
    2nd Purse #036 £46.69/£50.00 :) 3rd Purse £30.02

    which company did you use?

    therecyclingfactory.com

They do mobile phones as well but I have just used them for the ink cartridges, will feedback when (if) I get the cheque.

The website looks pretty good and you can get tesco points instead (I think) they also have a free phone number so hopefully should be ok.

I used them too.... used the bacs payment method and the money was in the same day they received it! Super dooper! Plus, they gave me the best price after I compared it with others, even more then places like Tesco etc, plus they take Silver! :)

I have added £72 to my total for this month today.

This has come from onepoll, superpoints, chacha and some txting work.

Am a little ahead but really motivated to have enough to pay off 1 small credit card this month.
