    Hi everyone,

For those of you decluttering with books to sell I thought you might be interested to know that I found a new website last night called Zapper and managed to get rid of 60 of my books. I haven't used them before so I'll wait until I get my money before I update my status. I think they also take DVDs and CDs.

I've got a few items ending on Ebay on Sunday so hopefully I'll have something positive to report then! Also did a mystery shop today but again I'll add that when I have the money.

So nothing to show formy efforts yet but hopefully cash in the pipeline!

what a horrific day. I went upstairs to put some clothes away and came down 10mins later to an open front door...and no sign of my 2yr old daughter. I have never run so fast in my life, up and down roads near my house. I was looking for 10mins before I ran home to get the car then searched for another 5 in the car. I soon realised I wouldnt find her on my own and without a soul around, I rang the police. I drove back home like a mad woman and just as i abandoned the car a lady came bounding towards me; 'Are you looking for a little girl?' I couldnt thank her enough! The police arrived as we ran back to her house 4 streets away and the copper was really happy, he said the chopper was just about to take off to help us search! The lady said she found her sat in a puddle crying in her garden. I cant tell you how relieved I was to see her, she came bounding towards me for a cuddle. This was at 1.30 and Im still a nervous wreck now! I kept the front door locked all day and only unlocked it to take a parcel...and then forgot to lock it again. And breathe!

Funny enough, not a penny made today!

Awwwwwwww what a scare you had!!! Well thankfully everything is ok... have a warm cup of tea and take a big breath. It was not your fault and I am sure you will double check the lock everytime you open it now!

I am glad your little one is safe and sound.. big hugs to you! x :)

  • Day 3 of the challenge for me and still on track but just a few pounds added today. Also slight revison to yesterday's post as decided to deduct all fees from eBay returns.

    1. One small sale on eBay £1.60 after fees.
    2. Spent an hour looking round the chaity shops - picked up a couple of items that think can make a profit on.
    Total: £43.87 / £290:j
Love the term 'Roadkill' re money found in the street. Didn't spot any today though - normally I would leave the coppers but won't be doing anymore as I see people record even the odd penny against the challenge targets - good stuff!
