As you say i don't really want to pay for listing if no-one's really shopping at the moment - thats why i'm happy to put the 99p stuff on there
Ahh, good point - I forgot about the free listings for a sec, lol. Yep, I've got plenty of junk that I'm happy to let go of for 99p. Think I'll get some listings on once I've finished my assignment... that I'm supposed to be doing right now.Just a quick note to warn you guys to be wary, I just had an email come through with 'Free £10 Amazon Voucher - Claim Yours Now' as the title.
I opened it just in case but could see it was from a completely random address and was obviously junk, but it h
ad not been picked up by Hotmail as junk, and as a lot of us on here do things to earn Amazon vouchers, it might be easy to think Oooh that must be genuine, I wonder which site etc it's from and click through. I would imagine it would have asked for email address and password or something, as a lot of them do knowing people use the same password for lots of sites, including Paypal etc.
I've just had that one too. Hotmail is pretty crap at filtering out junk - and at keeping good emails out of the junk folder! A good tip for hotmail users is that if you're not sure about an email, to hover the mouse over the address before opening it - it will show you the address that they give, plus the actual email address, so you can tell if it's genuine.0 -

Just had a very speedy catch up and well done to everyone going great guns with their totals.
I am feeling a bit sorry for myself tonight - avoided everyone's bugs all over Christmas and New Year and then started to feel like boiled carp yesterday. Spent ages de-cluttering the house and cleaning pre Christmas and into new year. House now looks like a tornado has hit it (namely my 6 year old and 3 year old , who had a birthday party yesterday and I now have to house EVEN MORE toys - argh!! :rotfl:)
Now loosing my voice, have a throat of nettles and have the zoned out thing going on. It's flaming typical as I am back in work tomorrow after 2 weeks off!! Going to be a very long day.
Anyhow, I will survive & sorry for whinging!! Nothing more to add to my total yet either. Have listed 10 things on Ebay though and have hit swaggers and am half way to a voucher. Nearly at £20 on CP and still not managed to get onto pinecone. Going to have to really get my butt into gear with ebaying stuff over the next week. Hubby got a £300 tax refund for washing his own work uniform over the past 5 years which will pay for repairs and service to his car, but can't include that as it is technically not mine! :A
Good Luck to all expecting babies anytime soon0 -
Added an extra £144.98 today from some items that I bought in November's budget as necessary clothing replacements, only to find that Santa had already dealt with my lack of a warm winter coat and other sundry warm things (boots, gloves, big knits etc).
Fortunately I had until 8th January to return my buys for a replacement or refund, so I'm much better off tonight. Now at £164.69 out of £620 target for this month. Need to rouse my slothful self to do some eBay or Amazon listing this week.
(I think I could do with my own sloth smiley round here...)
