  • Congrats on the new baby thriftymummy83 & good luck with your impending arrival Monkeynut!

Got my next £5 amazon code from swaggers today, used a £4 off a £20 spend coupon in Sainsbobs (dont normally shop there but read the grocery thread about which of their basic ranges are good and then went & stocked up), and weighed some old clothes in for the grand sum of £1.21.

    So I'm adding £10.21 today.

hi plbl just wondering where did you weigh some old clothes in??? i got loads i need to get rid of

Also, my TKMaxx goods have arrived and what a surprise, they are all carp. They look nothing like the pictures and the dress I ordered is 2 sizes too small! It even says the correct size on the delivery recept! I've read I can return to any store for free and with any luck I might find the dress in the correct size...

I tried to cash out for the first time on Spoints and didnt realise that because im on Basic level, I have to get 2500 points! Anyone want to be my friend?!

I need some friends on there too - PM me with your Superpoints name. :)

Lemmings, I use a company called enviroclothes. They have a portacabin in a few of our local shopping areas and you can literally just turn up with what you have and weigh it in, or they have a number to call and they arrange to collect them from your house at no charge. It works out at about 40p a kilo I think, but they take linnen, clothes, teddies and shoes. I only ever give them what I dont think would sell on ebay, but they do ask that its in good clean condition (though they've never once checked whats in the bags!). I lknow there are other companies that do the same but you'd have to google for your area. Hope this helps Xx

As I understand you only get credit on Spoints for people who sign up under you, not exisiting members unfortunately. I'm not sure if you can connect to people though, which would be fun

Well i just won a whole 6p on JPJ :D First money i have made so far this year so challenge total so far is 6p LOL

apart from that my other totals are

    Superpoints - 627
    Swaggers Me - 694 claimed 2 £5 vouchers this morning :)
    Swaggers OH - 653
    Maxi - 2720

    Debt Savings Account - £97.25

Swaggers Charity - 779 - i want to try and cash out £5 voucher on this one today :)
    Charity Auctions Account £22

Well i had a majorly better day today with cash - few cheques in the post and Daddy Dearest gave me some Christmas money so I ran off to the bank with them before they had a chance to evaporate - i now have £478.61 in my Debt Savings Account :D - Give them a few days to clear and i can pay a few things with that nice wee sum :)

So thats £381.39 i have now got and smashed my target of £5 per day for my own earnings hahahaha. I think i will try to aim for £500 this month now instead! :)

I also did a full debt count which was very very scary indeed :eek::eek: but at least i have a starting figure again now and so i'm going to add it to my siggy so i can see my progress over the year.

My online account totals are now at:

    Superpoints - 643
    Swaggers Me - 887
    Swaggers OH - 671
    Maxi - 2765

    Swaggers Charity - 2 (£5 claimed yesterday)
    Charity Auctions account - £29.00

£29/£155 for that so far (will add the £5 when i get it)

Oh and for anyone who might like to join me i have started a group on facebook called "I'm a fan of MSE" - if you search for it in the facebook search bar you should find it ok - has a pic of Martin on it - thought we could chat a bit more openly about certain things on there :) if you can't find it let me know :) Hope to see you on there!

Hope you all have a good day! xx
