Hello again all
Off out tonight and exhausted at the moment because delivery driver this morning banged on the door at 8am and woke me up!! Hence the short post earlier, really wasnt with it!
Anyway tonight will consist of drinkies, drinkies and more drinkies.I'm off to a club for a few hours + going to a pub beforehand so I can have a catch up with some friends. One of the girls going is a friend of a friend and I dont really like her, but I invited her to keep the peace....the things we do for a quiet life! :rotfl:
Not going to be all bad today - popped up the road to the library, and then came back and cooked portions for freezing: big wok of beef stirfry with veggies, and a pan of pasta which I've mixed with some pepperoni slices and ready made meatballs
Anyway:
b - 2 x ww sausages with baked beans, slice of bread
s - chocolate vodka sweets my friend got me for my birthday - surprisingly potent!!!
l - pasta with meatballs and pepperoni + salad, as I cba to make anything else.
d - no idea. might eat while out at pub, I'm leaving at 7.45pm to get to pub for 8.30-9pm....probably just snacky bits - but will avoid crisps!!!0 -
Change of plan for lunch - I ended up going out with some friends from work and had a cheese and bacon burger - the pub had a nice 'under 500 cals' menu, but none of those items were included in the 2 for £7 offer, which was rather annoying. 'twas a nice burger, though...
On the plus side, I was driving so I only had a soda and lime rather than anything alcoholic. Dinner tonight will now be the Greek salad, with some tomato flatbread.
TG - have a lovely evening out.Back after a very long break!0 -

Are you freezing the stir fry and if so what does it defrost like - Sorry I don't really freeze a lot of things as it is chocca with veg and meat at the moment.
My shopping bills are climbing well out of control and I need to get back to meal planning / freezing etc to reduce costsSW member: 09/01/2014

Freezes really well. Of course after cooking it initially let it cool (I put mine on a tray on the counter and cover it with a teatowel :rotfl:) and then you can freeze it. With the chinese style portion tubs you can defrost it, then put it in the microwave to cook - only takes 2 minutes.
I dont recommend microwaving it direct from frozen.0 -
