A bit late but Happy Birthday Theatregirl, hope you've had a great day and a lovely meal!
I had a really bad day on Sunday, as we went out to dinner with OH's aunt and uncle who were visiting from Canada, the dinner wasn't too bad (pub roast) but the 2 bottles of pear cider and the apple pie and custard for pud didn't do me any favours, lol! Then in the evening we went to MIL's and had pizza, only had 2 and a half slices but my calorie intake overall for the day was not good. Mind you we did walk around 2 car boot sales so that burnt a bit off.
On Monday we went to do some cleaning and gardening for my elderly dad, which burned off a few calories, but then I had sausage in batter and chips from chippy for lunch, as we'd promised my dad that we would get him fish and chips and have lunch with him. Only had a crumpet for tea as I was still full from lunch, and I managed to stay under my allowance for the day.
Today (Wednesday) I've been pretty good, as I've spent most of the day shampooing our armchairs which we bought on ebay recently, they now look much better and I'm hoping to shampoo the lounge carpet tomorrow as it badly needs cleaning.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Mornin' everyone, and a very happy birthday to sparrer! _party_
Can I pick the collective brains of this wonderful thread, please? Does anyone have any ideas for quick, easy and healthy breakfasts for workdays? This morning I had FF yoghurt and cereal again and, having quite a low boredom threshold in some respects, I'm getting really (cereal-sly?) tired of it.
So, today goes:
B - FF vanilla and mango yoghurt with cherry muesli (yawn)
L - Greek salad with some mixed leaves and half a dozen mini crispbreads; nectarine
D - spicy seafood stew with the other half of last night's garlic flatbread; stewed HG blackcurrants with a small amount of frozen yoghurtBack after a very long break!0 -
Thank you CCP
. How about fruit salad which you can make the previous evening? Smoothies. Crackerbread with rf cream cheese and tomato. Bacon/egg/tomato/mushrooms/beans (any one of those) on toast. Can't think of anything else but no doubt the others will come up with something better.
Thank you ellieI love cake but not too keen on icing, so theatregirl and I can share and nothing will get wasted!
re candles -shall we just say more than double theatregirl's age, and if you turn it backwards it's still the same
Been up since 6am, decided then undecided what to take away this weekend, got loads of clothes out then put them away, matched up separates and decided they didn't look right...I'm only away for two and a half days for goodness sake! It's a girlie weekend to the Hilton in Brum so best bib and tucker are called for in the restaurant, and casuals for shopping - I need a trunk
B - bloomin' nectarine. Last one, hurrah!
L - last of the salad stuff
T - usual 3 crackerbread etc
S - apple, satsuma
E - feel like I've done an hour already with the above. as many 10 mins as I have time for today, will be running round like a headless chicken sorting out car, dog, shopping etc0 -
CCP - you can have a variety of things for breakfast! I'll find out my Rosemary C book later and type some bits out for you, lovely breakfasts and I never feel hungry after eating them because portions are so large!
Not sure what food is going to be today as we need to go shopping later as we have emptied out a lot. We're going away in 4 weeks as well so trying to run everything down already! :rotfl:
Breakfast however was 2 rashers bacon (fat drained off) and a fried egg with 2 slices wm bread - followed by the last of my chocolatey cereal bars0 -

A belated Happy birthday TG and Best Wishes to Sparrer for today.
Hope you both get what makes you happy.
Hi Knit Witch, can I please do my weigh in today please as not about tomorrow. I've SS which I am quite pleased considering no walks for three days and I havn't been very good. Smaller plates are making a difference in some respects and I'm sure the exercise is doing me good. Feel trimmer on my lower half which is where all my weight is. Even when I was in my twenties and slimmer my weight went there. Someone I knew then once said to me that I had an hour glass figure, I said thank you feeling really chuffed then he said yeah, 'with all the sand at the bottom'!! Good job I have a good sense of humour. He wasn't wrong though and as I've got older the hour glass has got bigger!!:rotfl:
