Thanks. It's not lack of water for me, as I drink loads - I suspect it's to do with the fact that I have an excrutiatingly uncomfortable chair at work and it's putting my back and neck at a strange angle the whole time (I'm waiting for a better one to be delivered but there's been endless problems with the order so it won't arrive now until the beginning of next month
).
For lunch, add one cheese-topped roll with a scraping of butter. Bad CCP.Back after a very long break!0 -
Where have I been - never had a chip butty, or a crisp one. Had sugar sandwiches and condensed milk ones when I was lickle, now I have something new to try. But not this week...

Hi Sparrer,
I remember sugar sandwiches in my childhood but never condensed milk ones.... ????? What did your mum do ??? Spread it on ???? I daren't try it... although I do have tins of condensed milk in the cupboard.. for when I have to make tablet etc..
I better not ask any more as it could put lbs on if I open that tin !!!:(0 -
Sparrerthat frittata sounds lovely - I have decided that I am going to make it for my tea tonight!!
Not having a great day food wise.
Overslept AGAIN so no time for breakfast.
Lunch - two sausages, about a tablespoon beans, fried egg and half a bread roll
ate a bag of crisps when out at the shops:o
dinner will be Sparrer's frittata
I will try very hard to not eat anything after tea, and will try to drink more water!
Elliehow are you getting on with your fridge? My fridge is also too warm - it is 14 years old so I think I will have to get a new one - trouble is it is integrated so might be costly....Jane

Ohh sugar sandwiches, sparrer I remember those and condensed milk sandwiches, my Dad used to love them, my stepmonster put an end to that though as she tries to keep him healthier now:rotfl:
I was also partial to a syrup sandwich not so many moons ago!
Hot day at work again, like a sauna, they think it will take another 2 days to fix, its only been broke since May!
B. museli and yoghurt
L. Salad with crumbled bacon and new pots
D. Not sure yet, have eaten 2 saffron buns whilst making the kids packed lunches, may just have a sandwich later.

Thank you for all your concern for my poorly fridge...I feel like I've got a sick relative :rotfl:
It's running at about half coldness today (the ice is not a new symptom, it keeps coming back when I defrost it)...so I plan to defrost it again, pull it out and clean it all at the back, and generally poke about...no, actually I plan to get DS to pull it out etc, but he won't be home from work until late so it will have to wait until tomorrow...
Today -
B; granola, ss milk
L: 2 slices wm toasted, with spreadbeans, fried mushrooms, half an egg (the dippy yolk
) and 3 fried tattie scones
Oh dear, it went badly wrong tonight...I had no intention of having fried tattie scones...my DM gave me them because they'd been reduced in SM, and then DS phoned to say he'd be very late, so it just seemed the easy option to eat them, and do DSs when he gets in.
I keep letting my DM influence what I eat! Although she also offered me a box of reduced truffles, which I refused...225 calories for 3 sweets!
Now I want to go to the SM, but we're in the middle of a thunderstorm...perhaps just as well, I may give in to the "I've blown it so I can keep eating" theory :rotfl:
Sirens...I'd forgotten about syrup sandwiches! Messy, but very yummy

Well, I made it to the supermarket...
and I tortured myself in the chocolate aisle...tortured myself, I tell you! :rotfl:
I looked at *everything*...I wrestled with myself...it was still half price...
And also struggled in the crisps aisle...who first mentioned crisp butties???
You know when you just want a TREAT, but you don't know what you want?
I finally settled on some half price cereal bars (full price is ),
so please add one chocolate and raspberry cereal bar to todays foodand very nice it was too

Well done ellie, it must have been a struggle in the sm.
OG we were allowed to dip the teaspoon on the tin of condensed milk and let it drizzle onto the buttered bread, then of course we licked the spoonVery messy and runny to eat but oh, so good! I brought some hm tablet back from Oban, it was yummy but I daren't try making it, all that sugar
Coming home from the Saturday night dance to heat a tin of spaghetti with an egg mixed in and cheese sliced over the top, on toast. Makes me feel ill to think of it now _pale_. Amazing what our young stomachs could cope with.
The trouble with scrubbing the carpet is every time I did a spot it looked grubby round the outside. Still, I managed a lot of carpet cleaning today! Not had bread for a day or two so my belly seems to have gone back to where it should be. I just hope I can keep it up til the weekend, when I'm away again. Unfortunately apart from breakfast it's a set menu so will just have to have small portions. Will try to be good...
Sweet dreams0 -
Morning all.
There's some really interesting sandwich ideas coming along here, although I have to admit that I'm not sure any of them particularly appeal to me!
I'm feeling reallytoday as a brief step on the scales this morning puts me at under 97kg for the first time in... oh, ages!
Today goes:
B - strawberry cereal with FF peach yoghurt
L - LO quorn fillet in a cheese-topped roll with mixed leaves and a little bit of salad cream; small packet of pretzels; nectarine
D - lamb and mint mini-burgers with Greek salad (made with RF feta, of course)
Have a good day, all.Back after a very long break!0
