You don't need much chicken for this recipe so why not buy some chicken for something else eg roast, or pan fried and use leftovers. My best risottos are made with left overs. And you can substitute lime for lemon if you want.

Oooh thanks, lime sounds even better, will definately be trying that:D

Out for dinner again but at a restaurant so I was able to make reasonably sensible choices from the menu

    B - F&F sk milk
D - Pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce with a slice of garlic bread from the under 700 cals menu. Apple pie with 1 scoop ice cream
T - Salad sandwich in 2 slices Danish
S - apple, grapes, satsuma, banana
    E - 3x10mins

Out for lunch again tomorrow, three days in a row isn't good for me or the purse but hopefully I can make another sensible choice tomorrow. I need lose something before my trip north of the border in May!
    Enjoy your evening :)

After scoffing a rather large portion of Sunday dinner that included some pretty calorific cauliflower cheese, and a lemon sponge pudding with custard for dessert I think I am going to have to do some serious exercise this week to burn it off!!:eek:

Aargh! I'm sabotaging all my good efforts this weekend as I type!

Was expecting 2 friends round for an evening in and a catch up...I'd bought wine and a huge bag of crisps for nibbles. Well, one cancelled this morning, but the other just hasn't turned up...so now I'm munching through crisps. I can't even remember when I last had crisps, it was so long ago...maybe a year.
So obviously I'm not bothered about crisps, but I can't stop munching :o

Maybe I should go outside and throw them down the garden? :rotfl:

And sparrer = the meal you had yesterday, all that meat...wow, well done for getting through it...I know just what you mean about not wanting to be rude by leaving it.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
  • I'm sure with all this food being thrown down the ends of gardens we are going to have some pretty terrific, fat, pasty looking fairies and elves in years to come! lol XD

Morning all, here is my foodplan for today:

    Breakfast- Alpen light cereal bar

Lunch- wholemeal bread used to make a ham and reduced fat coleslaw sandwich, low fat yoghurt

    Dinner- Meatball subs

Snacks- Apple, 10 calorie jelly pot if needed, emergency treat size flake for if I have a chocolate emergency

Hopefully there will be no additions to the snacks section!!

Exercise- 15 minute fast walk into town to catch the bus, same walk back this evening to get home. Probably won't have time for the gym tonight as we go shopping after work on a Monday night.

Have a good day all :)

Please can I join the new challenge?

I completely lost it on the last one but must get back in gear, was 14 6 this morning, have no summer work clothes that fit and am getting lots of pain in my legs which I think is due to the extra weight. Why is this not enough to get me eating less??

Dragon - please can you put me down for 14lbs?

    thanks

Well Ladies and Gentlemen (if we have any) I have been missing in action for over a week now. I'm sorry to you all and to myself. My home alone Easter started well but unfortunately went down hill. In terms of being healthy and in everything else. I couldn't really face posting.

I have to report a sts, I know I'm late sorry. I'm amazed I managed that to be honest. I was eating a lot of rubbish and nothing else. I felt horrid and ill. Did hardly any exercise as felt so terrible. I'm not sure if this is because of the junk I was eating or the other way round. I think I stayed the same because although I was eating chocolate, I wasn't really eating anything else. This then made me feel ill. I had no energy. It was a circle. OOo I'm babbling, sorry.

So anyway I'm back. Still feel a bit wobbly but we will see.

I hope everyone had a great week and well done on losses.

    xxx
