    afternoon all :D
well the weekend wasn't a total disaster but could definately have been better, too much wine ( a few glasses friday, sat & sunday!) But food could have been worse, at least we didn't eat out at all!

    the plan for today is:
2 x seedy toast with butter & marmite (another non-marg person here :D)
2 x seeded toast with tinned mackerel in spicy tom sauce, t'was delicious
not sure about dinner, maybe turkey stew if the kids haven't eaten it
am trying to keep the snacking at bay but i think i'll maybe have a couple of ryvita's with hm jam to keep the sweet pangs at bay ;)

good luck with the new week.

    B - F&F ss milk
D - chilli chicken, pilau rice
T - hm soup, 2 crackerbread with yogurt. Another who doesn't like spread/margarine, I generally use yogurt but keep a block of butter in the freezer. I hardly use it though, just knowing it's there is enough.
    Snacks - fruit
    Exercise - 1/2 hour pulm/step/weights

I was making my first cuppa of the day when there was an almighty THUD  behind me, really made me jump. I turned round to see my DD's dog, who is on holiday with me for a week or two, had brought my 1 1/2 kg weight in and dropped it on the kitchen floor, no doubt thinking it was one of the dumbbells he plays with at home and wanting me to throw it for him. I had no excuse for slacking after that!

Hope you're all sharing in the sunshine which is shining through my window :)

fuddle are you drinking enough because sometimes not drinking enough water will bung you up.

Thank you :) I don't think I am! I am having a couple of cups a tea, probably 3 a day but nothing else. That's no where near enough is it.
  • Hi All,

Glad to see that I’m not the only one who has slipped, although I was very good over the weekend and didn't once stray from my menu plan….but today was a different story. I was recalled to a hospital clinic and between 9.00 and 12.00, I was clamped (those who have been through it know what I mean) poked, prodded, clamped again, scanned, clamped again, needled x 3 and clamped till results came back 15mins later….thankfully results benign, so was released :j. I dread to think what the bruising will be like later.

However after the morning’s events a friend insisted that a bit of stress relief  was called for so today’s plan so far has been

B – Toast, lite spreading cheese, (all I had time for)
L – ½ bottle of wine, crackers & cheese, crisps - instead of soup from freezer & fruit. But will have
D – Grilled Pork chop, steamed carrots, broccoli, sweetcorn
AND NO MORE ALCHOHOL, even though I am relieved & celebrating :T:j .

    Evening all,

Yesterday I was feeling like carp and only had a couple of dry slices of toast.

    Today -

    B - Nothing
    L - Lamb sandwiches
T - A takeaway (promised a while ago for the kids) so I had a chicken Kebab, salad and a few chips.:o

    Back on the wagon tomorrow.:D

D: chicken, mash, sprouts, broccoli & gravy
S: 1/2 pint SS milk, large orange, ovaltine light, 2 ryvitas with a little peanut butter

Very very glad you got the right results today. Enjoy your wine and celebration. Some things HAVE to be celebrated and this is DEFINITELY one of them. Being careful can start again tomorrow.:T
