I plan to have cider and Walkers French Fries after my veggie stir fry - oops! :o
    Must use my stash up!
  • I made a toad in the hole type dish for dinner, but with mince instead of sausages. It was meant to be 2 meals worth, but was so moreish, i've just eaten the whole thing! I kinda don't regret it (except that I don't have any more for tomorrow) but have put a little note in my recipe book not to make it again unless I have someone to eat the other half!

Other than a double dinner, I have only had a big bowl of soup with 4 crackers today, so not an awful day all round. Very tired due to a lack of sleep last night, so probably needed the energy.

Sorry to be so late with my weigh in, but I'm pleased to report a loss of 1lb this week, which is something of a miracle after the week I've had, lol! OH and I have both been off work for the past week, and because the weather has been so bad we've not been able to do much, and have eaten all the wrong things, including Mcd's (with a mcflurry) on Friday, lol!

Today the weather was gorgeous (although still cold), so we went for a long walk. We were out for 3 hours altogether and were walking for most of that time, stopping for about 10 minutes for a sit on a bench beside the river, and then we went for a coffee in a cafe before heading home.

    Today I ate:-
B bran flakes with sultanas and semi skimmed milk
L oxtail soup and 2 slices of wholemeal bread
    D jacket potato with beans
S low fat banofee cereal bar, strawberries with natural low fat yoghurt

OH is back to work tomorrow, and I start back on Tuesday, so hopefully back on track from tomorrow.

Well I'm home and have weighed myself this morning, was dreading it but it could have been worse...the pound I keep losing and gaining is back on, but no more. I expected to be heavier, because I feel fatter, IYKWIM :o

It's been a stressful month, nothing life threatening, just several different tradesmen involved, jobs which didn't go to plan, one problem after another, deadlines looming...back playing up more than normal...and a big decision to make about work which caused some sleepless nights, and I couldn't make the choice I really wanted to as I knew I wasn't physically strong enough with my bad back, which was very dispiriting, made me feel a bit "lacking" and useless for a while, but I can only do what I'm able to do :(
oh, and I have a sore tooth which is interfering with my copious tea drinking :)

The only thing this list of woes proves is that I can't diet properly when I have things going on...I need to be at home with no distractions, if I get too busy I turn to convenience foods, and a bit too much of it!

So it's a new week, and I *will* try harder this week!
If I don't get my finger out and lose some pounds, I won't be where I want to be by easter.
One day soon (I hope :)) the sun will come out, and I'll have to take some of my layers off and show a bit of skin...and this year there needs to be less skin than last year :rotfl:

I'm off out now to restock with vegetables.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
