i ordered some high protein milkshakes on amazon recently (using subscribe & save, they're less than half the price in asda/tesco)
my first order has turned up today and the plastic wrapping around the case of drinks had a slight knick in it. pulled out the first two bottles only to discover they've been opened and consumed!
what sort of dirty git puts 2 empty bottles that he'd had his laughing gear around back into the case which is going to be sent out and then subsequently returned? (well, the sort of git who knows he probably wont be caught!).
i know for 100% certain it wasn't the driver because the packaging was perfect. absolutely no signs of being tampered with.
the humdinger is that i can't have any of these now either because i have to return them to amazon
shower of bastards

no chance, the foil lids under the cap have been visibly pulled back. one of the bottles has grown mould on the opening of the bottle, so it's definitely been done before it's been posted as this level of mould doesn't grow in 24 hours. plus the box is bone dry, as is the rest of the packaginghelpful tips

after reading reviews for other items, it appears not to be an isolated incident
http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B000X43V90/ref=cm_cr_pr_hist_2?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&filterBy=addTwoStar
a reviewer there says that his meal bars turned up and there was one taken, presumably in the warehouse, as the outer amazon packaging was fine.
i'm not even sure i feel confident enough with amazon that i want a replacement. it turns my stomach that some cretin has been drinking and eating stock that is then sent out to customers. i know the rest of the packaging is fine, but god knows what they're carrying that is now on the top of these bottles and is now in my house.
infact, does anyone have a complaints email for amazon? i've rang customer services and the american-sounding woman was helpful, but only once i had explained everything 2 or 3 times. do they have an british-based customer support i can speak to?helpful tips

Are amazon even involved in the transaction, or are they a middle man and do not handle the items?0

there is a label on the side of the case that reads:
Amazon EU SARL
FFORDD AMAZON
Crymlyn Burrows
SA1 8QX
[CWL1]
From: Maximuscle Ltd.
i'm assuming that's a packing slip from maximuscle to amazon, so i presume from that that amazon do indeed handle the stock.helpful tips

amazon have emailed me back and have passed the buck firmly onto DPD. i have made it clear it wasn't the courier (and did so in my original phone call and email)helpful tips

Even if it was the courier, how is that your problem? Surely it has to reach you fit for purpose and it obviously hasn't.0

i replied and made it completely clear it wasn't the courier. i like the guy that delivers in my area, i don't want him losing his job or getting in troublehelpful tips

When I had a gripe with amazon I found it easier to do the live chat as it is an indian call centre and I found that the operatives have better written english than spoken. You can also do a screen dump of the chat if you want evidence of the contact. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
