What good will that do the OP?!
He needs to ring Payplan as soon as they are open and explain the situation.
Hopefully they will be sympathetic to his situation and rejig the DMP to include the PDLs.
It's realistic to assume they won't, because he has "broken" the contract, as others have pointed out.
However, CCCS will likely deal with him, and they can look at all the debts as a whole, effectively starting afresh.
I'm not sure what you think cancelling a DD to Payplan will acheive, as all it will do is caused missed payments to his creditors on the existing DMP, and sour relations there, so there is no benefit.
OP - good luck.

I find it odd that you didn't get any sick pay whilst you were off work sick. How long was you off for? Did you or your partner do anything to try to up your income in this past 6 months? If not why on earth not? Surely as a postie there has been overtime or extra hours especially this last month - the busiest time of the year for them.
Maybe your best bet right now would be to get in touch with the PDL companies and ask them to roll the debts over for a month and this will give you a month to try to sort something out.
Sorry if this sounds harsh but maybe you wouldn't be in this mess if one or both of you was working full time.

The PDL's will take whatever money is in his account on the date payment is due. Did OP say that was 6th Jan? I've been reading all about them on the Loans board.
Maybe a long term and painful solution to his immediate predicament would be to take out a loan with someone like Provident. Very high interest I know but once he starts defaulting on those PDL's its not going to look so high. He could maybe do this without affecting his Payplan account.
As they both work part time they must have quite a bit of spare time on their hands. There is a lot of ways to make a little extra cash without actually having to declare it to anyone and also saving money.
How about growing your own fruit n veg? Not an immediate fix but as your garden becomes more productive your shopping bills will reduce allowing you to squirrel a little away to pay off the Provident loan earlier.
How about gathering up any old metal you have and scrapping it? I would walk the streets picking up aluminium cans and scrapping them if I thought I couldn't feed my cat never mind kids!
Ebay stuff, if it's second hand/used you are not liable to pay income tax on it.
Invite yourselves over to in-laws, family, friends for dinner/tea occasionally if you can.
I keep all of my metal food/cat food cans, I don't see why I should give them to my local council to cash in when I can cash them in to the scrappie myself.
Also, try doing surveys online for vouchers. You can get Boots vouchers and use them for your toiletries and get a Points card so you can even earn off your vouchers.
There is so much you can do to help yourself out of this mess especially given the spare time you have with only working part time.
Oh a really fab way to make a lot of cash quick(ish) though not at such short notice, is to do medical trials. And it doesn't necessarily mean being pumped with radioactive flourescent green antifreeze type substances that will kill you in 10 years time. You can do various trials, like sleep trials, dietry trials. Hmm just remembered, I made a thread on this on Up Your Income, must go find it!
Head on over to the "Up Your Income" board.
Hope that helps some.
