Yes I was going to post this too but I had reservations about doing so.

    Just to edit

I just took a quick look at the ask a debt advisor a question at the top of the thread and shopaholic has the same question re PDL and the outcome doesn't seem favourable.

Payplan are not the only DMP or free advice provider. Don't totally lose hope. Speak to payplan and be totally upfront and honest about your situation. If they cancel your DMP then your next call should be to CCCS, Nationaldebtline or Citizens Advice.

As in the other thread they may just say you have to handle the payday loans yourself but will continue with your other debts as normal.

Is it the thought of contacting the loans companies as well? If so I wouldn't worry about them, they can't have anymore than you can afford.

What threads that? I wouldn't mind a read as if they say that that's awful!

  • Please don't panic about what Payplan might or might not say.
Ring them as soon as you can tomorrow, be totally honest, up front and remorseful and make sure they know everything, how sorry you are etc.
*IF* they say that they can't help you any more, then contact CCCS and ask them to help you instead. Come back here and keep in touch with the folks on the thread.

PLEASE - don't think any more about suicide - nothing is that bad (believe me, I've been that low in the past).
Worse case scenario? You can do the DMP yourself - other have done so

  • Good luck tomorrow - as others have said there will be a solution.

Have you checked with your HR Dept about sick pay?

    2016 Sell: £125/£250

    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!
  • You must phone Payplan in the morning, however tonight, get listing on Ebay at Buy It Now and make some money. Ebay everything that isn't stuck down, the kids may not bring you much, so don't bother Ebaying them:D

It's only money, it's not worth not sleeping or having suicidal thoughts over, what you haven't got they cannot have.

Their are other DMP providers if Payplan cannot/will not help.

If you experience problems tomorrow, come back on here and post, I'm sure you will get advice on where to turn to next.

    Thinking of you.
