I know the feeling! Good morning all, I'm back from a few days away in Devon and this morning got back into the way of gathering up a few bits to keep things moving. I'm around this week so things should pick up a little. I was going to say 'I missed the decluttering' but remembered that was what we were doing at my friend's! She found some wonderful historical items, but a lot more that only deserved the bin. Glad it's not just my house!

    7 underwear items to bin
    plastic book holder to cs
old pkt ground coffee to bin
old box coffee filters to bin

Sold a dress on eBay and got 2 bids on other things ending tonight, listed 6 more things today (free listings) and hoping to list a load more later.

Got rid of 2 sippy cups the other day that I forgot to mention, we have loads! Got rid of a lovely throw, I accidentally put it on a 40 wash instead of a 15c and it ruined so had to chuck it, all the threads came away :( I may need to replace this though. And another dog bed came in, an anti slip one for his crate - a needed purchase so don't feel too bad.

Hoping to sort some more bits tonight :)

    Afternoon everyone,

    17 Handbag to CS
18 Pair of trainers to CS
19-20 Two huge cardboard boxes that had been in the kitchen for far too long to recycling.

    Happy decluttering everyone.:)
  • Not much at all today, though I have decluttered my dvd index of all the dvds that I sold recently.:)
  • Still not much done here, just getting back to 'normal' after having daughter and grandson staying last week. Still finding bits she's forgotten to take home with her!

I'm trying to work my way through a long list of jobs I need to do before next weekend, which will involve decluttering a lot of tombola prizes that have been collecting here over the last couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll get shot of them all on Saturday.

Made a start on organising the emergency bags too (one for car for winter, one for power cuts, one for emergency evacuation from house) so a lot of the bits that were laying around have now been put away.

A few small outs this weekend:

    11. Amazon packaging - recycling bin
    12. Pair of hubby's socks with holes in - fabric recycling bag
    13. 1 tiny jar of marmalade - eaten and jar in recycling
    14. 30 sheets paper - made into inserts for mum for card making.

Hoping I'll feel better tomorrow - planning a day in to sort stuff and wrap tombola prizes up. Onwards and upwards....:D

I very often go away for a few days and each time write a list of what should go in the bag. Each time the list is the same but I do need to work through a list. So a few days ago I decided to write up the list on the computer so I can print out the same one each time (I could laminate it and use the same one each time, but don't have a laminator). I am starting to pack the regular items into one drawer so I don't have to go hunting round each time, and it can also be contents of an emergency hospital bag. That means I will include in there emergency information (dr's details, next of kin etc). Hopefully it will save me time - but it will also mean that the same things I usually gather up will have a permanent home. Hope it works!

    HI all,
Glad to see people doing so well!
Two more items sold on ebay so will be posted today, a few odds n ends in the charity box. sorted through little mans clothes, put some to charity, and filled a suitcase with his other items i.e knitted jackets, Moses basket blankets that wont be used. Have about five bags of mixed babygros on ebay, if they dont sell then will either bundle together as one huge lot or just charity shop them!
3 pairs of hubbys trainers in the bin, an odd boot - not sure where the other one is!
One photo lightbox that was left here when we moved in recycled.
Thats it so far today but hubby is home so can leave the little one with him whilst i sort!
