Today's heat has slowed things down but I managed to prune the buddleia, thus clearing the boiler outlet ahead of its inspection on Friday and I've made a start on the front hedge. I hope to finish that off tomorrow morning before it gets too warm. Also
3 books to recycling

Wow, certainly hot today.... not had the energy to do much except go through a box of rubber stamps, go out to lunch with a friend, and then have a frantic tidy up/hoover before viewers came to look at the house. Luckily it wasn't too bad as we're trying to keep it tidy for viewers, just a case of flicking a duster around, hoovering the floor and sucking up the ever increasing cobwebs that seem to appear before my eyes every day! Hope this nice weather encourages the spiders outside now!

Sewing day tomorrow so I'll be decluttering some fabric by making morsbags and distributing them in local library. It's such a nice feeling now, knowing that I can sew guilt-free, instead of thinking "I should be doing the housework/ironing/gardening/anything but sewing....".
Well done everyone, you're all still going great... even if it's only 1 or 2 things a day, those things are out of your life for ever....! Freedom From Clutter!!!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Thank you so much for your support and encouragement, am hoping that if the sun stays around I may start to feel a bit brighter too, feel at rock bottom at the moment so the only way really is UP - I will get through these dark days.

Another small storage box (last one) moved from the window sill to the empty bookshelves. I'll now look at what else I can keep there to tidy up other areas - I think the shelves could be deep enough for jigsaws.0 -

I'm getting close enough to reaching my targets that it's got me thinking. I moved into this house to have enough room to get things out of storage, spread them out and declutter. This thread is really challenging me to speed up the process and I think I will use the next couple of months to concentrate on bedding/linen etc and kitchenware. I'll be really close then to have dealt with all the extras over and above the normal everyday decluttering. But decluttering has been my main function since I've been here. When I finish, what then? I'm recently retired so in a position (and I'm so thankful for it) to be able to choose what to put into my life, and to try and keep an eye on getting a healthy balance. I can downsize where I live if the right thing comes up - that might give me a garden I can enjoy managing. So many thoughts - thanks to this thread.0 -
