Welcome Moorhen, it sounds as though you've made a good start already. But reporting on here regularly becomes a constant reminder to keep going, and a number is a good way to give yourself a pat on the back. :)

Hi can I join in? In the last week we have cleared out and dismantled the old tatty garage cleaned two sheds and old outhouse. The children have sold some of their stuff on music magpie and are looking at more things to get rid of .I've got one bag ready for the CS and I want to get three more ready by the weekend so Dh can drop it off for me.I've been watching hoarders on Tv and kept thinking thats me:eek: So I'm determined to succeed.

It was cardboard collection day yesterday so got rid of a load of old boxes etc to the recycling.

Today the dmbins went so I cleared a load of tat out of the fridge, emptied all the bins and that's gone.

    Decluttering I've managed:

    4. Chipped mug
    5.chipped plate
6,7. Two pairs of holey socks
    8. More sheets of the kids artwork
    Still going Slow and steady
    Trying to keep in budget.

    Welcome sammiell

This thread is great for keeping you motivated as you declutter.

    20. Lots of weeds - in the garden recycle bin
    21. Piece of metal found under weeds - in the bin
    22. Huge amount of money on credit card to clinic _pale_ for emergency allergy consultation and treatment for hysterical 15-yr-old girl after 4 days of suffering

My sense of humour has decluttered itself. Really fed up

    Got sun here though :)
