Morning all. Haven't posted for a while but have been actively decluttering. Have extended my attentions to the allotment shed, which is 6 x 8 foot and packed solid. I have freed up some space in there by having a mass cull of the flowerpots. Do they breed when your back is turned?:p It's the only possible explanation.
19. Kitchen pinboard, decluttered of contents.
20. Candle-tray, back to pal.
21. 1st lot flowerpots (big bag) Freecycle.
22. Hair ornament c.s.
23. Packaging materials - Freecycle.
24. 2nd lot flowerpots - Freecycle.
25. Fridge magnet (broken) - binned.
26. 3rd lot flowerpots - Freecycle
I've probably decluttered about 200 flowerpots but am choosing to count them as job-lots or the challenge will be over too soon and too easily.
Keep up the good work, peeps.

I was missing in action for most of May, but I was decluttering, honest!
32 items sold on E-Bay, I'm not sure exactly how much made, but well over the £100 I was aiming for (even after P&P, fees etc).
Unfortunately, DH's health problems mean that things are up in the air so the carboot sale etc didn't happen.
Shall put myself on 'maintain' until I can see the way clear in front of me.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Morning, all! Here's my quarterly Public Service Announcement:
Old towels, blankets, sheets can all be useful to animal charities (especially small, local charities) for a variety of purposes.
So, if you have an animal rescue or charity nearby, check if they need your cast offs. And I think some of them take knitting wool to pass on to interested parties to make blankets.
I'll be back decluttering at the weekend. I have the place to myself so can do the "drag it all out of the cupboard" routine:D‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Hi all
bonnie_bumpkins I so agree with you
Thank you so much museumworker - fab reply and very helpful
The handle of one of my fave crockery bowls snapped off the other day and I have decided to spread the outside with something like putty? and press either pretty stones or glass gems into the sides to turn said bowl into a lovely pot pourri holder

Do I remember you from PTN's thread last summer??
Thanks!OH is doing better now. I'm pretty sure he just ate too much on Saturday, at a friend's house. Another friend didn't show, so they asked us to try and eat as much of the food as possible! OH isn't very good at saying 'No thank you, I'm full.' lol
And, er, I'm not sure. What was it about? Decluttering? I do get around the threads on this forum quite a bit, so it's possible! :rotfl:
Nothing was done last night as I was, well, knackered! Better luck tonight I hope, as I am busy tomorrow night with threads. A 'Haarlem Shopping Night' - they are open until midnight, and there is music, and street stalls etc, and you get a card that you have to get stamped in 10 different shops. If you get all the stamps and hand it in before Sunday, you get entered into a draw for some prizes (including 1 minute around the supermarket, and cinema tickets etc etc). I'm hoping they give out some free stuff too.
Oh God, I'm going to add more to the clutter aren't I?! Must remind myself I only need glass etching cream, clear contact paper and a small paint brush!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Thanks for this. I didn't realise. The bag is still in the house (rubbish collection isn't until Thursday mornings), so I will have a look to see if there is an animal charity nearby who needs them.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Keep up the good work everyone
After a massive garden clearance and a car full to the tip on Saturday I have taken a break for the last few days to spend time with the OH, off to his house and off out for a chinese buffet tonight but I plan to restart tomorrow.0 -
Had a mad half hour on the Jettison June project - filled a bin bag a box and large carrier bag for CS - mixture of stuff but a good quantity of books
Also lots of things gone straight in wheelie - had no idea why I was hanging on to them - mainly work related.Going to award myself 50 for that lot!
