I'm joining in with the decluttering thread!

    So far this week...
3 bags of recycling collected today.
3 bags of clothes / shoes ready for a charity shop.
1 bag of rubbish in the bin.

I think that might be about 70 things at least. :T

I also organised my paperwork into an expandable file.

I'm determined to keep going. A great thread! :j

......We seem to live in the kids' repository these days, waiting till they each get somewhere properly settled to live in rather than limited rentals...

I take that back. We are storing some of the kids' stuff but it is in MY repository :o.

I did the dresser yesterday, having "sorted it out" just before Christmas... and pulled out another 15 items  . (mainly ornaments). I now have two stacking boxes full of 'stuff' to deliver to the CS.

Anyway, I'm embracing the 200 challenge.

I'm getting rid of a pushchair today. Be glad to see it gone. £12.50 in my pocket though, that's alright isn't it?

Afternoon all. Joining in a little late here - but sold 2 bin bags of clothes via c4c today, 10 items on ebay last week (another 85 currently listed). All recycling and rubbish bins collected today. Green garden bin is full, awaiting collection next week (got rid of 5 mahonia bushes, so not compostable for me) Gave m-i-l some unwanted toiletres. Children are doing their best at decluttering the heaps of eggs they got :) Looked at stuff for Zapper, but have only found 6 items which they'll accept so far - will keep plowing on with that as I find more possible items.

I've been busy getting stuff onto eBay, 79 items listed, they are selling a few at a time but I'm just relisting everything that doesn't sell and it seems to sell eventually. Be glad when this stuff is all sold, then it will be tme for round 2 as I probably haven't been that harsh this time round.

Trying to declutter and sell on eBay, too. What do you find sells the best? It's odd because some things you think are precious to you go for pennies and other things you think is old tat goes for much more. Can't quite work out the best things to list. Any ideas?

All I would say is dont bother with books - unless they are specialist text books then they seem to go for a reasonable price - well in my experience:)

Hi all, I love coming on here and finding out what everyone's getting rid of! Makes me feel a lot better knowing it's not just my house.:o

Still building up my car boot pile as friend wants to do it at the weekend. Don't think I'm psyched up enough yet! So have just sorted:

    47. Instruction books for items no longer owned - recycling
    Then the rest for carbooting:
    48. 3 egg cups.
    49. Plant holder
    50. Set of children's cutlery.
    51. Necklace.
52-63. 11 paperback books, all read once (by my mum; I never have time to read!).
    64-67. 4 hardback cookery books.
    then found
    68. Pile of magazines dated . . . 2009! Recycling.

Must keep going cus the clutter really really annoys me!

Amazed by everyone's eBay listing sizes! I have 10 on at the moment, need to try harder!:)
