Not been around for ages, but I have been busy.

    Old dishwasher gone,
Living room has been just about cleared, almost to minimalist style!
    Ditto in the kitchen
    Ditto in sons room,
    Bathroom cleared, old products gone.
    Top hall cleared
Bottom hall had been cleared, but now houses bin bags of stuff that i need to go through
Box room is over spilling with stuff to go through ( that came from everywhere else that was /is getting kept)
My room is same as box room

Jobs for this week is to concentrate on living room and kitchen, sort out the stuff that doesn't have a place, get floors washed, cupboards cleaned etc.
Got drawers for sons room, he is busy putting his toys in them, cars with other wheeled toys, scooby doo all together, toy story all together, books in book shelves/box etc....
Then sort my room, then the box room.

I'm feeling a lot better in myself, I have had visitors and haven't been too worried about what they would say/think about us.
Son is so much happier too, he can now invite friends over. Also he got a new bed and it is helping with some play space in his room :-)

Good luck to all the other hoarders, keep at it, its a never ending job, but we can do it :-)

Oh p.s. I would do the 10 thing challenge, but the way I'm going I'm putting abt 100 things in one bag lol..... the guys at the dump are making a fortune from me!
After the house has been cleared then I will be selling things as at the moment I say I'll sell it, but it just sits their staring at me, accusingly, til I put something else over it lol

I posted a the thread about decluttering which perhaps some people saw as offensive and moved. I did not know that there was a thread here about decluttering before starting the thread, so I was not intending to upset anybody here on the OS forum.

Have been working today so no decluttering - but took weekend decluttered items to C/S & managed not to buy anything when I was there (bargains are my weakness....).

Have the rest of the week off for half term so might be able to declutter in amongst other activities...

  • 2 Bras in the material recycling bag, sadly wires popped out so bras are no longer any good. Gutted as they were two of my "everyday" ones. Am going to have to raid primark tomorrow for some new ones! Won't be buying tesco underwear again!
