  • Definitely joining the March challenge! I think I could do the challenge every month and not run out of stuff for a year!

  • I've bought a new printer so now to find a home for the old one. Going to use all the ink first and then put it on Freecycle.

I've got plenty to list still but trying to do a few bits at a time to avoid having loads to post at once! I have 8 items to wrap and post tomorrow. Glad it's my day off!

Can I join in with this for March? I'm getting rid of my storage unit & I think my house might actually explode like an overblown balloon :(

    Hi

Just wondering if you could advise me how you go about selling on Facebook.

    Thanks

The easiest way to check if your local area has a selling group is to type in your nearest county/city/town/village etc into the search box followed by the word selling. E.g. I live in Lincoln so typed in 'Lincoln selling' or 'Lincoln sell' and it will come up with a list of groups.

Then it's simply a case of clicking 'join' and you're away! Different groups have different rules, e.g the ones I use ask you to post photos in an album and to only bump them up once every 7 days, but others let you bump as often as you like etc. All I've done is add photos with a comment of what it is/sizes etc, how much I want for it and my rough location then just wait and see if anyone wants it. I've found anything child related sells well - clothes, toys, books, equipment etc. HTH!

As Cat04 says :) The lady collected the kitchen today and was really happy with it, I'm not sure why as the stickers were almost worn off but I made sure she knew that before and she loved it.... :D

Posted 2 orders from my business facebook page, trying to sort out old stock and take apart the ones I dont like and sell the ones that I'm happy with (I make jewellery if anyone was wondering lol)

Also took a library book back today and was good enough not to bring a bag of them home!

In today though is more beads for my shamballa bracelets which are rediculously expensive! still waiting for my new cord to make the bracelets up.... hopefully in the morning.

Well its nearly March, are we all carrying on with another 100?

One more - does decluttering sweat count?! Went to a step class and nearly drowned aha! Was good though! xxx:cool:

Now that is impressive :rotfl: I have 8 to take back and guarantee I will come back with at least another 8.

It was my sister's birthday yesterday and I couldn't find what I had bought her, so had to go and buy something else. However, I managed to declutter a few things to the tip while I was looking.

  • I just posted another 9 items. Still got a massive box of stuff to list, 55 items listed currently. No idea where it is all coming from but every time I look around I find something else to add.

I broke the top pull down drawer of our freezer a few days ago which made me realise that needs a huge decluttering. I have so much food in there so eating out the freezer for the next few weeks!
  • Well, I haver managed to add a few more items to the February total:

    - 1 ovenglove - ebayed
    - rag doll - daughter doesn't like it much, so its for the charity shop
    - carrier bag of old childrens clothes which aren't good enough for the charity shop - clothes bank
    - 2 mobile phones - recycled through Asda

Sadly I missed out on the free listing weekend - I couldn't get organised. However, I am keen to put my motorbike and gear up for sale next month locally so need to get a couple of photos done.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • hi everyone
i haven't reached the target of 100 but will aim again for next month! i have thrown away loads of laddered tights and given away another 12 things to charity. i have a couple of things listed on freecycle but they won't be gone today so i'll add them to next month's total:) so my final total for feb is
