Freecycle? I've seen weirder things listed
Just sorted out my jewellery box, got rid of a load of old bangles and earrings I'll never wear (I need to remember I'm not a teenager any more, and haven't been for well over ten years!) and listed some necklaces and bracelets on ebay as it's free listing - worth a go!0 -
Hi folks I'm really proud of myself. I've had a really busy and productive few days. I only posted my first items on the 21st Feb.
On friday and Saturday I sorted out some of our bedroom and I have spent today on the attic. I have got rid of a few things but also tidied it up and made things much easier to find. Lots more up there that could be got rid of but I didn't want to bring it all down at once and make the house look even more of a muddle. I made a list of things up there that I want to sell/ get rid of - baby clothes, books, wool and once house straighter will bring things down a bit at a time.
DH busy listing some items on ebay. I did find his old mobile phone box in attic today, so that has been listed on ebay today, plus an old trek mat and sleeping bag that DS has grown out of. Also have a few present boxes in the attic - they had a few children's presents in there that are for children younger than I now know - have brought them down to list on ebay.
So in the last few days I have decluttered the following
9 broken water pistol bin
10 broken drawstring bag bin
11 3 x nail files bin
12 out of date eye drops bin
13 empty manicure wallet bin
14 facial waxing strips bin
15 4 x broken coat hangers bin
16 11 x envelopes shredded
17 Timer cs
18 toy dinosaur cs
19 3 x mascaras cs
20 one step face base old and broken bin
21 clinique lip gloss cs
22 2 x broken belts bin
23 purse bin
24 4 x tweezers cs
25 eyeline cs
26 scissors bin
27 pin sentry device that was lost so they sent me a new one bin
28 empty hemp handcream bin
29 broken light toy bin
30 empty shoe box recycling
31 windmill poster recycling
32 cuddly frog that no longer talks bin
33 white leather slip ons - very worn bin
34 children's talking book that no longer talks bin
35 Clubcard vouchers that have already been used shredded
36 2 x lakeland catalogues recycling
37 2 x other catalogues recycling
38 jeans with huge holes in the knee
39 2 x Dh football trousers with holes in the knees
40 old net curtains bin.
Phew I am really pleased with myself as I only started on the 21st Feb, so I have achieved 40/100 so far for February.
Things will slow down again as weekend is over ,but I am determined to keep going at a steady pace.
Thanks to everyone for your inspiration

Hey, I saw this many many pages back now. If you have jewellery you don't want anymore you can send it here and it goes to a good cause. You can send straight to their address or request a bag. I sent a small juffy bag of broken and unwanted bits and pieces

I have 32 items listed on ebay. Only 11 of them are newly listed though.
I also got rid of several kitchen units, doors, drawer packs and guff from the shed today. Got them out as the weather was so lovely. My friend had already said she would take them off our hands and she was able to be in this evening for us to deliver today so yay! That has created a very large space in our shed which I don't want to be filled with anything again! I have also listed DD's bike on ebay. If it doesn't sell, I have a friends daughter in mind who can benefit from it so that's ok.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
