They did give me loads more bags to fill so far I have one track-suit and spare tracky bottoms one pack a mac and an anorak. I also have a three inch gap at the top of the wardrobe so thing must be going well. I will just keep plodding on. I have stopped counting but I must of decluttered a hundred items.0

9) Big one this - just had my old car decluttered from the drive.
Felt so guilty seeing it being loaded on the lorry, and going off to the scrapyard in the sky. I drove it for 11 years. The £130 the man gave me cheered me up a bit though!
Happy decluttering x
I know how you feel, my last car had to be scrapped about 4 years ago, and I felt like crying when it went, lol!Oh well at least it wasn't in the cupboard!
And you have now cleared the cupboard of clutter!squeakysue wrote: »They are both for big charities but annoyingly they don't want toys or bric a brac just clothing and textiles.
That annoys me too, especially as I'm more likely to have bric a brac etc than clothes and textiles, as I've already got rid of most of my excess of those now.
Wednesday was my day off, and I had a 'to do' list as long as my arm, lol, but turned out to be a totally CBA day, so not a lot got done! Did a pile of shredding, took my dad's washing round to him, scanned the pictures from last year's cat calendar onto the computer and put the pics into recycling, and made a trifle using sponges and jelly which were BBE Nov 2011 and a tin of strawberries (BBE May 2010) which was yummy, but I thought it best not to mention to OH that the strawberries were nearly 2 years past their BB date, lol!
Yesterday I binned a pack of fresh wipes which had dried out, put a hair slide in CS box, and took some more used envelopes in to work, along with some used batteries for recycling. Today I sorted the hall table, and put a pile of leaflets and a couple of magazines into recycling, and sorted a shelf on the computer desk and found some paperwork from when my dad was after his council transfer, not needed now he has moved, so that has also gone into recycling. I also finished the dregs from 2 bottles of toilet cleaner, used the last bits in 2 tubes of toothpaste and a shower gel, all packaging binned/recycled. I’ve got a few days off next week so hopefully I’ll get a bit done then.

Have been busy in the kids bedrooms yesterday and today. 2 trips to the tip, plus 1 to the charity shop later:
Battered wardrobe that wouldn't survive the move - tip
Surplus bed attachments (desk, shelf & fittings) - tip
magnetic noticeboard - tip
broken stereo & speakers - tip
vacuum cleaner - died at the sight of DS1s bedroom! - tip
tatty dressing up clothes - tip
large fold-out army base in the shape of a van - tip
collection of wooden swords - tip
tent type thing that goes over a child's bed - tip
tatty dolls house - tip
8 black bags
random outgrown clothing too good to throw away - charity shop
Also sorted out the plastic boxes in the kitchen - been really ruthless and my brother will be coming over tomorrow to swap my 28  unwanted plastic boxes for some much wanted cardboard ones! I think I'm getting rid of more than I'm keeping. And can someone explain why I have a huge pile of unclaimed lids? Do they breed when the lights are out?
3 beds dismantled - in fact the rooms have been completely dismantled and packed into boxes! So now my totals are
February declutter challenge 147/100
Boxes packed 95
Moving on to my bedroom tomorrow - could be a challenge as I struggle to move in there at the best of times, and now I need to clear under the bed of all the boxes stored there, and dismantle the wretched thing. If I'm not back by Tuesday, please send in a search party...!:rotfl:

I worked where all my boxes went lol. I was a bit cheeky today I needed to pack and post a cot mobile I sold on eB@y but couldn't find a box big enough,
I parked at b&m bargains as its behind the post office, and asked the warehouse guy if he had an empty box for me lol. He gave me a very funny look but brought me one anyway, so I packed and addressed my parcel in the boot of the car haha
