Decluttering 2012, this year, definitely ...

Still at it and not counting.
3 handbags - given to friends
Numerous paperbacks - given to friends
A HUGE pile of paperwork - shredded at work
Slow-cooker hardly used -given to friend
Three-quarter empty bottle of vodka lurking in kitchen cupboard - drunk
Need to get a shift on as having decorating down and new carpets laid and I refuse to move the garbage anywhere but O.U.T.

I've been sorting out and clearing up almost all day. I haven't counted how many things have gone - but it's loads and loads. I knew I had a mountain to climb and I've been climbing all day. It's beginning to give me confidence that I can do it.
Still got to line the curtains, though, but that will happen bit by bit.
I will get straight!!! I will get straight!!! I will get straight!!!!0 -

Drunk as in verb and not drunk as in adjective!
Actually enjoyed the voddie and didn't affect me as much as my usual wine.
Since my last posting I have found three boxes of freezer bags... sometimes I wonder if I actually do much thinking when shopping!
Two of the said boxes in a bag for a friend.0 -
Well decluttering has really really slowed down for me, but I know that I am still happy in the knowledge that although I am not going to make it to 100, all the things that have left me home have made a difference to me or someone else.
52. ELC toy till - via freecycle.
53. Another bag of clothes to charity shop.
54. Shoes (that gave me blisters yesterday - and do not make me smile when I look at them!!!) - to CS.
55. Another pair of glasses to charity bin at specsavers - but two more pairs came in - but not clutter as will be used.

I have just listed another 3 items on ebay.
Was wondering if anyone could offer advice about recycling old dvd's. they are too scratched to go to charity shop. I dont want to chuck them in the bin if they can be recycled or reused.
Thanks:)
Also, just found a bag of books that I will take to school on monday as we have a book and cake sale each term.
Will take the tub of used batteries I have been collecting, into the supermarket when I shop too.🎄PAYDBXMAS21 #11 £11,300/£11300

This thread inspired me to get rid of a lot of old uni text books and I made £106 from Amazon Trade in and £42 from Zapper, so thank you very much.0
