I have a drum I need to get rid of - it's wooden, slatted so makes lots of different sounds and has bamboo and rubber beaters. Do you think a primary school music department would take it? I am really not sure what to do with it - it's been wrapped in plastic ever since it arrived (crazy arrives in my house by DHL as well *sigh*). I really want shot of it, OH is mumbling about the fact it was a gift - but we've had it three years seriously have no use for it; so I'd love it to go somewhere where someone could use it.

    luxor4t - well done!

We've taken a huge pile of things to the charity shop on the corner, cleared about a quarter of the clutter piled in the corner from when we moved in & unpacked! Have a nice little collection if things on the sofa ready to photo & list on Ebay!

It's all quite therapuetic! Hoping for £10 (after all postage & packing) which will go straight in the savings. Lovely boyf is off into town in half hour to trade in liads of old games too! Yay! :-)
    First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!
  • I'm quite new to MSE and have been reading through these threads to get some motivation. I'm starting with my clothes mountain and have looked out 27 items that have never been worn or still have tags on, I've just listed them on local fb selling page and have sold 3 things for £3 each so far:j, I'm going to see how many I can get rid of over the weekend and then ebay what's left. My dream is to downsize my wardrobe and decorate the spare room and get new furniture as currently have a mish mash of storage. So thanks for all the inspiration x

Thanks to you good people I have cleared out underneath my bed, my scary understairs cupboard and one of my kitchen cupboards today :j

I'm not really keeping a tally but I must have thrown out/charitized/ebayed/recycled at least 100 things today alone....

It's just a bonus to know where things are again :D
It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :j
