Just managed to book my first choice site (a week earlier than I would have liked but not to worry).

Those who have booked did you all get confirmation from the holiday place straight away? I dont know what to do, ive had my email saying payment has been successful, but the site crashed before I could get booking confirmation and not had anything from Parkdean. Ive rung them, and they said they dont get confirmations of sun bookings till 28th Feb, but really dont want to wait till then when the money has gone out my bank

Same happened to us, crashed 1st time so we redid it. Now have received 1 holiday confirmation & 2 payment confirmations. Will wait and see what's taken from the CC, and contact them or contest it with the CC in necessary.

Surely by taking payment your holiday is secure?

I got my confirmation straight away.

I booked earlier and the site crashed after the payment was made. I have received a payment confirmation but not a holiday one, but when I go back on the site and try to re-book it now says ' You have already booked a holiday using this promotion' so fingers crossed it is booked after all.

new to this, ive not got a "sun reference number" and have not been collecting the paper tokens, I have been keeping tabs on the oced words posted on here, how do i go about filling in the online form? or cant i do this?? any help appreciated! cheers

people who want specific dates try pontins website they have ther blue cross sale ive just booked there top club accomadation for 13th august for £125
i know some reviews are poor on pontins but theyve been taken over and by then they should see improvements and as i said its ther top accomodation with free elec passes and linen included

its just hit me that i may have made a mistake...

i booked a week at village fabulous near rome. it cost £120 for 4 people. the park has caravans and camping... i was looking to book a caravan. now ive just realised that i wasnt given a choice of caravan or camping - maybe ive booked camping?! looking at the email receipt, it just says "accommodation type: standard"

now im worried....

You can't - you need a Priority Booking Reference to be able to book online, it's the first piece of information needed on the website. You could add yourself to the long list of people wanting one, or you could buy one off eBay ...

Without that, you need to apply on a booking form, for which you'll need the actual tokens from the newspaper.
