I logged on just after 7pm last night. I had 5 parks in mind looking at specific dates (all school holidays). None were available sadly - 1 did include Butlins but others were normal Haven parks. So I guess that some parks have limited availability before onsale?

Fuming as wait for OH to confirm hes got dates we want off booked, his boss doesn't get back to them fast on holiday grrrrr prob won't get anything now, thou non sch date so do hold out some hope of something just wish he would hurry up and give me the green light to book

how does this work?
I have just booked for skegness and it didnt mention entertainment etc, booked half board and it only cost me £60, is this right? should I need to be paying for passes etc? Is the skegness one Butlins?

im persuming you picked a summer date and thats why it cost £60? the charge for the entertainment and service charge will be sent to you by the butlins. (yes the skegness one is butlins)

All this sound about right, Butlins will invoice you at a later date with all the extras you need, service charge, passes ect.... Skegness is Butlins...

you should get the confirmation fairly soon after the payment, I expect it might be delayed due to unprecedented demand.

If you are not limiting your campsites or dates you will be fine. Post it early, fill in form today, cut out token in morning and post, leave it a day or two and it may be more limited. I have over the years only be sent one cheque back, because I applied a week later and wanted all half term dates/easter. There will be more dates released, not just the ones online. You could at a push try the phoneline, telling them you didn't receive a reference number despite booking before, I know people have been successful before.
