I'm hopelessly behind on my homework, so I've asked my mum for a note excusing me from catching up.
**eyes note with suspicion for obvious reasons, but then shrugs, gets out the tippex and over-writes Mummy Bear's signature with Mummy Happy's. Sorted.**

Happy, I heart both Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy but not in a pervy way, for I am a Woman of a Certain Age and once you reach that milestone it's only appropriate to exercise one's mildly lusty thoughts from a substantial distance, and in private. (Actually, they're not my Lust Objects, but you get my drift.) It just so happened that every time I walked into the sitting room when OH was watching Peaky, someone or rather several people were shooting each other full of holes. Every. Single. Time. It's a bit like Game of Thrones, where every time I happened to be in the sitting room for a nanosecond at least one character was hacking another to pieces, limbs and blood and gore flying in all directions. I'm not entirely sure I haven't sometimes thought, 'Oh, I pity the poor person who has to clear all that up' either. Imagine having to sweep up all the arms, legs and heads that used to get lopped off as they were slashing their way around castles in the olden days. And let's be honest, any more than an arm and head and the bucket's full. What a bore medieval flying must have been.
I am also a Woman of a Certain Age so was, obviously, purely commenting on Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy's impressive acting skills. I barely even registered Cillian's nudey scenes in Series Three, even though I felt obligated to watch them over and over again just to see what all the fuss was about.

Game of Thrones was mega-violent to the point where I just couldn't watch it. You're bang on about the Flying in those days, all those discarded body parts would have played havoc with their Dysons.

Thanks for everyone's good wishes for the Happy Dog. She's a lot perkier today. The anti-biotics seem to be working and the open drain in her throat is healing over so she's looking less like an extra from Peaky Blinders.

I'm going to do a proper catch up later because I'm falling asleep here. Night :)

    1) To have at least 15 NCDs - Nope, I was out and about and picked up a chocolate brownie to go with my afternoon cuppa. :o Oh well, still on 10 NCDs. I need to resist temptation for the last 5 days of the month to hit my target. :rotfl:
I love this more days than month idea!

    2) To meal plan at the end of the week for the following week - All done for this week. Tick. It's just such a relief when it's done!

    3) Be in bed by 10.00pm and light out by 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday - Bed at 10.10pm and light out at 11.00pm. Ooops. I was no better last night and I can really feel it today, too.

    4) At least 30 minutes walking during the day - 40 minutes done (2 x 10 minutes, 1 x 20 minutes). Hurrah! Cracked it!

Elnora, I'm with you about food and flying. If you're standing up all day dealing with food, the last thing I ever feel like doing is cracking out the Dyson or the duster.

    • To have hit 63 kgs at some point on the scales over the course of the month which will require a steady downward tragectory. Must. Stop. Eating.[STRIKE] OH's.[/STRIKE] any Chcolate.
    • 15 minutes Flying per day. Finally done this morning. The lack of the 15 minutes is now really showing.
    • Stretches after each dog walk. Better. Now remembering to stretch before I go!
    • Clear one paperwork Frog each week ([STRIKE]minutes[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]tax return[/STRIKE], stocktake freezer and food cupboards) [STRIKE][STRIKE]and Compliance stuff and more minutes.[/STRIKE][/STRIKE]. Stocktake still ongoing. Minutes done last night, as soon as I got home the volunteering thing I do weekly. It really was a very full day's work, so that coupled with being on a a bit of a buzz at bedtime meant I didn't switch the light out until 1.00 am and boy oh boy can I feel it today.
    Better is good enough.

Dolphin - while I was sorting out an online order with S@insbury's I came across some pasta made out of chickpeas. I don't know if you've seen it - I hadn't. It seems to be like Marmite - you either love it or loath it. I thought it might be worth a look if you don't know about it.

Oooh, I'll have a look at that. If you guys carry on with all these suggestions, you'll be doing my meal planning for me and saving me the job. :rotfl:
  • Update for yesterday...

    1) To have at least 15 NCDs - Yay, now on 11 days!

    2) To meal plan at the end of the week for the following week - All done for this week. I had better start thinking about next week.

    3) Be in bed by 10.00pm and light out by 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday - Bed at 10.20pm and light out at 11.00pm. Why, oh why, do I find this the hardest of my targets? It should be so simple!

    4) At least 30 minutes walking during the day - 40 minutes done (4 x 10 minutes).

    • 15 minutes Flying per day. Finally done this morning. The lack of the 15 minutes is now really showing. You'd think finding 15 minutes a day would be easy but sometimes it seems not. At least you've caught up now. :)
    • Stretches after each dog walk. Better. Now remembering to stretch before I go! hope your legs are feeling the benefit of the regular stretches.

    • Hope you can get an early night tonight and catch up on lost sleep

    2) To meal plan at the end of the week for the following week - All done for this week. I had better start thinking about next week. As Honey suggested mix meals from previous plans and voila a new meal plan without too much effort. Hope the chickpea pasta is a winner.

I think you've cracked the walking
  • Happy - good news that the Happy Dog is doing well.

[FONT=&quot]Flying – 15 minutes per day No as I was out all day -while out it rained and I got soaked through. Flying was the last thing on my mind when I got home.
Pampering – I always remove make up / moisturise my face but this doesn’t extend to the rest of me where I’m a bit slap dash so this month I will take better care of the rest of me. Yes, this morning before I went out
Finances – update spreadsheet when required and not leave it until the end of the month.Yes - only a couple of receipts.
