I would suggest making very thin egg omelettes but you want something you can scoop up with chilli don't you? Xx
The thin egg 'wraps' may actually be a possibility so thanks for that. :TWhat about cous cous or bulgur wheat? I'm not sure whether these would meet your dietary requirements or not though or whether they would taste OK with chilli.
They both contain gluten unfortunately but all suggestions welcome so thanks for that too.0 -
[FONT="]Flying – 15 minutes per day - yes although only just.
Pampering – I always remove make up / moisturise my face but this doesn’t extend to the rest of me where I’m a bit slap dash so this month I will take better care of the rest of me. I seem to be getting into a routine with this one
Finances – update spreadsheet when required and not leave it until the end of the month. Updated today.

SERIOUS SEPTEMBER – DAY 19
· 1,500 cals three days in work week, 500 cals on two and lighten up a bit at weekend! - had a bar of Green & Blacks dark choc with salt and toffee - it was so nice! I had brunch out with my friend - salmon and scrambled egg on toast and two flat whites. Big chickpea and rice salad with lots of veg for dinner with fruit, yoghurt, honey and walnuts for dessert! Rather high on calories I think, but at least it was healthy!
. Walking at least 30 mins per day, plus the leg exercises that Elnora has given me - did about 20 mins of walking and leg stretches. Failed on feet!
· - Drink six glasses of water per day – five!
· Go to bed at a sensible time during the work week – - failed last night
Eating down from the freezer - Lots of smoked haddock on the cards next weekend!

Didn't make it back yesterday - reason to follow. Well done to those keeping to their targets, and a very gentle and sympathetic kick up the rear to those who want oneJust out of interest, does anyone know what I could serve chilli with other than rice, chips, crusty bread or tortilla chips?Honey_Bear wrote: »OH likes Peaky Blinders, Happy, so you're in good company. I'm not even going to talk about my target fails, just promise to get back on it today. It's been a really stressful few days and my mind hasn't been on it.
Happy Dog has had a little lump on her throat for a couple of weeks which we've been keeping an eye on. On Saturday it started swelling and by Sunday it was massive. I convinced myself it was cancer, and we shot off to the vet yesterday. Massive relief when it turned out to be a pus-filled abscess! The vet drained it and gave her anti-biotics and although she stinks a bit it should get better quite quickly. She is leaking stinky stuff all over the carpet, which is delightful, but the main thing is she's getting better.LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Happy - we have the Elnora Dog so I know what it's like when they are not 100%. Really pleased to read that the Happy Dog is making a good recovery.
I'm pushed for time tonight so I will catch up properly tomorrow.
My targets:

HappyNow - Sorry to hear Happy Dog isn't well, hope she recovers quickly!
Thanks for the tip about the Tyrrell Root Vegetable Crisps. They are gluten free but may be a bit carby. I'll check them out.
Also, thanks for the offer of the recipe for the veggie chilli but OH likes his meat and I have used the same chilli recipe for years so I can pretty much make it with my eyes shut. Also, the bonus is that it makes enough for 3 meals so 2 meals worth goes in the freezer for a later date.
Another good day for you Elnora. :T0 -
