I can't find Shaggy's cheerleader smiley, Happy, so I've asked her. In the meantime:RAH RAH RAH
and I hope the Happy Pops is holding his own and starting to regain his strength.- Meal plan from existing stocks as much as possible every week. Sorted. Three years it took me to find a system that works for us. Happy's Thread to the rescue once again.
- Clear desk gibble daily Sorted.
- Stop ****ing swearing. Fine £1 a word for each ****ing occurence I'm doing the Penny a Day system mentioned else-thread, but starting off with the expensive months and tailing off to £4.65 for December. The sweary thing has netted me so much extra that I only had to shove in a tenner to bring the monthly total up to £93.09 - but I do have extra ways of making myself save, so it wasn't 93 swearwords. The virtual contributions were most welcome.
- Identify and contact five outlets for each working day in February, so that's 21 in all Nothing over the weekend. County 1 follow up phone calls today. I'm totally prepared for the worst and have identifed my next target outlet type which may be more fruiteful, so I'm not as down about it as I was. A satisfying trawl of Yell has resulted in 250+ hits. Excellent.
- 15 minutes a day flying five days a week. Dusting will have to occur as OH got a bat up his nightdress and vacuummed the whole house yesterday *faint* so I better do something to show my gratitude and willing.
- No sugary stuff one day a week for the first week, two days a week for the second week, three days a week in Week 3 and four days a week in Week 4. I completely forgot last Sunday that I was allowing myself Sundays off, and then yesterday I was being very strict with myself until OH pointed out a) it was Sunday and I was allowed and b) he'd just bought us some handmade chox. It would have been rude not to, wouldn't it?
- No computer after 9.00 pm (except my ipod so that I can choose my night-time listening) and lights out by 11.30 pm Tick on the computer front, hopeless on the lights out front.
- 5 fruit and veg a day Tick.
- Electric toothbrush once a day. Tick. It's all about the mornings.
Better is good enough.0 - Meal plan from existing stocks as much as possible every week. Sorted. Three years it took me to find a system that works for us. Happy's Thread to the rescue once again.

Totally unnecessary second post because I'll delete this and put it in its proper place tomorrow but I just wanted to share some excellent news.
I've started ringing round the outlets in County One that I cold called a couple of weeks ago. Of the eleven sets of samples I sent out, two have already said no prior to me following them up, which is what had dented my confidence. However, when I finally, finally plucked up my courage today and screwed my whatever to the sticking place - seven owners were on their day off (retail, understandable) and the two that I spoke to said: Yes. I thought I'd be doing exceptionally well if just one of the eleven said Yes, and I'd got myself into a place where it was sort of okay if all eleven said no, so I'm over the moon.
I think I have a tiny, tiny micro-business that will grow after all. Just thought I'd let you know, Happy, because some of these targetty goal things really do change lives, y'know.Better is good enough.0 -

Well done Honey Bear, very pleased to hear that all of that effort is going to pay off! Congratulations! (non-alcoholic gf beer of course)

More *healing and strengthening vibes* for the Happy Pops, and also for my friend Jane who is in intensive care.
The Last Hurrah of Fab Feb- Meal plan from existing stocks as much as possible every week. Meal plan blown on the first day of the month because I'm taking Mr Bear out for a celebratory meal tonight but I've got a three month plan now, so if the worst came to the worst I could just recycle the whole thing four times a year. So, sorted, once and for all. In the end, part of the success was that I bought OH a Simon's Cat calendar for Christmas and we both love it so much it's a real pleasure to write on it, read it and look at it.
- Clear desk gibble daily Sorted. Lesson learned; it means I don't procrastinate sitting down to start in the mornings, and all it takes is scooping up everything left on the surface at the end of the day and shoving it in the in tray.
- Stop ****ing swearing. Fine £1 a word for each ****ing occurence All bundled up and waiting to go to the bank to change it up and then the credit union to shove it in the account. I think I've learned the lesson I wanted to learn from this.
- Identify and contact five outlets for each working day in February, so that's 21 in all Well, the grand total wasn't 105 phone calls where I got through and spoke to someone, but I've got past a huge mental block, found a cold calling system that seems to work for me and had some success. Very, very happy with it. I was going to delete Post 2384 and put the info here, but as it's been quoted (thanks for celebrating with me Dolphin!) there's not a lot of point.
- 15 minutes a day flying five days a week. Half the house has been dusted and dewebbed. I rather think I need a quick rub down with the Radio Times.
- No sugary stuff one day a week for the first week, two days a week for the second week, three days a week in Week 3 and four days a week in Week 4. Celebrated my success mentioned above by eating four squares of my favourite 1!d1 whole nut chocolate. In the olden days it would have been champers all the way when the sun had gone over the yardarm but I found I didn't mind not being able to do that any more, just that I neededed something to mark the occasion. Bad Honey Bear, obviously, but it was totes worth it. Interestingly, four squares was enough - a month ago that would have had to have been a whole bar. Sorry about the mega-verb phrase there.
- No computer after 9.00 pm (except my ipod so that I can choose my night-time listening) and lights out by 11.30 pm Tick for both and then the dog reminded me rather forcefully that he'd only had three walks and he should have had four. So I got up, got dressed, trotted him around the block and went back to bed at 12.15. Won't be making that mistake again.
- 5 fruit and veg a day Tick.
- Electric toothbrush once a day. Tick. It's all about the mornings, so another success for Fab Feb, I think.

I could trawl back through your thread Happy and see what we called March last year and then ask if you're up for another one, but it's just easier to ask - how about it? I know you're under a lot of pressure at the moment, so if you want to take a break that would be understandable. If you're up for it, I certainly am because it's made such an amazing difference for me.Better is good enough.0

Update for last day of Fab Feb...
1) A piece of caramel shortbread again(this particular one is very nice).
2) Just under 10,000 steps :j (still taking it easy).
3) Light off at 10.00pm :j.
4) No spends on other people :j.
I could be up for Marvellous(??) March. In fact, I'll probably do it anyway as I already have one long overdue target in mind that I will be starting on today.0 -

Let's keep the home fires burning for Happy, shall we? I haven't decided what I want my targetty things to be yet, but Marvellous March sounds good to me.Better is good enough.0 -
Well done on the sales success Honey, that's great news and encouragement to carry on. Fantastic. I love it when people succeed in their own businesses.
