I'm pleased you are doing so well with his house-training. If he's going to be in the mancave all day then he certainly deserves a shiny new litter tray :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Anyone up for NocrapNovember? Not a problem if no-one can face it, I will still plough on with it so that I'm content and gorgeous by 1st December
If doing NoCrapNovember promises contentment and gorgeousness - I'm in.Better is good enough.1 -
Oh I'm in and thank you so much HoneyBear for your thoughtful and constructive suggestions - I shall certainly give some of them a whirl. Clothing is definitely something that I struggle with at the moment - I'm so not sure what I want to wear forget about 'should wear' as I don't subscribe to that, but I've certainly not got a handle on my style. Are Trinny and Susannah still around? No, forget that idea - Gok would much prefer my ample heaving bosom.
And Happy Now, thank you for the laugh about the litter tray - I was literally roaring when I read that.
Right eight teenagers for a Hallowe'en party/sleepover - popcorn, nachos, dips, ribs, sriracha chicken, wedges, garlic bread, coleslaw and cake - no healthy eating here tonight.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

- No computer after 9.00pm. Blow out time. It was on until about midnight while I listened to Halloween stories on the radio. Threw the towel in during The Exorcist but only because it was probably going to be too scarey to sleep after 2.00am.
- Five fruit and veg a day. Yesssssss. Back in the game.
- 15 minutes flying a day, sticking to the new schedule: Monday: Dusting/dewebbing; Tuesday: Kitchen; Wednesday: Floors; Thursday: Bath/shower room; Friday: Windows/Paintwork. Gleaming houses require no Flying. Yeah, right.
- Go flour-free. Managed it for the final day, which suprised me.
- New for Suptember 2: Use the electric toothbrush at least once a day. I hate doing it, but it's so much more effective than the old fashioned one, so if I make it official I might stick to it. Not a tick. Bad HB. On a thoroughly bad roll.

I couldn't wear any of the clothes any of the telly frock evangalists promote, but at least Gok seems to like real women's shapes. T&S just seem disappointed with Rubenesque women which doesn't build anyone's confidence. Either way, I'm pretty sure if you had a really long, hard look at the pieces of clothing you have that you really, really like, you'd be able to come up with an outfit or two that you feel great in. My big mistake has always been to save my favourite (or expensive) things 'for best' with the result they never get worn. Now I wear dressy stuff bought for evenings during the day if I want to feel and look smart.
The other thing I've done is to divide my chest of drawers and wardrobe space into two basic sets of clothing - everything that is blue or white, and everything that is black or goes with black. It's much, much easier to mix and match things as a result. I decided that I like Breton style blue and white striped cotton tops and gathered a few from charity shops. That's as far as my personal 'style' goes but it was cheap, easy and quick.
And then, having discovered a brand of jeans that makes my bum look rather fab (and does a bit of magic on the tummy front), I bought one blue stonewashed pair and one very smart black pair. They cost an eye watering amount and are worth every penny because if I want to feel confident while looking casual, they're what I grab.
I'll come up with some targety ideas for NoCrapNovember later, when I've decided what needs working on the most. I rather fear an electric toothbrush will need to be on the list again.
OH's litter tray is very smart, by the way.Better is good enough.1 -

Four of us are going round to one of the other plastering student's house next Saturday to help her do her kitchen. How cool is that?!
That is very cool! What a fantastic thing to learn.1 -

... scuttles in, leaves a post in haste ...
- No computer after 9.00 pm and light out by 11.30 pm;
- 5 fruit and veg a day (why this should be so difficult I have no idea);
- Keep a careful record of floury stuff eaten so that if I get a reaction I can work out what's making it happen;
- Electric toothbrush once a day at least;
- Write all Christmas cards and do all the obvious Christmas shopping by 30 November so December is just the fun stuff.

Hello all
I've made a start on me - gosh that sounds very Real Housewives, doesn't it? Three days in and I've managed to resurrect my proper cleanse & moisturise routine day and night, as opposed to a hurried harried 2 minutes, and have added 'one new thing per day' to my routine in the hope of halting the decline.
So 1/11 was the routine, 2/11 added scrubby mitts in the shower, 3/11 added body moisturiser and today I am trying to remember handcream. Little steps. To be fair I always remember handcream and moisturiser at night as I have them next to my bed but typically I forget both during the day.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300
