    Update for yesterday...

    1) I had a chocolate bar.
    2) Light off at 11.20pm.
    3) Meal plan for the week already done.
    4) No spends on other people.
    5) Face and neck moisturised but my face has gone all red and blotchy but that could be the suncream that I put on yesterday. Not sure which.

Two of my nephews have gone on holiday and I gave them £10 each for spending money :o.
Hmmm, OK, that sounds reasonable enough provided you could afford it :)

Wouldn't it be lovely if the blotchiness was an allergy to Eton Mess and chocolate :D. I would be so grateful if that happened to me! Could it be a bit of sunburn though? Maybe you were a bit late applying the cream?

    1. Lights out by 11.30pm five nights a week. Fail again.
    2. Maximum of five mugs of real coffee a week. Success!
    3. Five fruit and veg a day. Success.
    4. Get Kelpie to come to call reliably by the end of the month. Another pile of £££s decluttered at the vet's to deal with his reaction to the general anaesthetic which has also involved a lot of nappy sax, microfibre cloths, carpet shampoo, antibiotics, an anti-nausea jab, prescription diet food and plenty, plenty walklets. Thank goodness for insurance, and I have to say I was very, very surprised that they paid out on his dental treatment because everyone told me that wouldn't be covered. Turns out it was, and this latest episode, an exisional biopsy, should be covered too. I almost feel sorry for an insurance company - a first. So, he's still in no condition to be trained to do anything.
    5. Give myself a couple of hours every day when I don't feel guilty about not doing more. Success - see 1 above.
Now that summer fruit is all over the place I should be able to manage five a day without resorting to the sundrieds. We really only allow ourselves to have them to zazz up cotton-wooly tomatoes in the winter as a side salad to go with pizza, and there just happened to be some left over in the fridge. They are so expensive that if I resort to digging into them to rachet up my F&V count, it can be taken as read I'm not getting fresh, frozen or tinned proper F&V. Bad me.

I'm glad it's not just me with the dog Recall thing. He follows me everywhere in the house, does what he's told pretty much every time, and is generally a very good dog. Take him up on to the Hoe and he's everywhere, looking at anything that moves, pee-ing on everything that doesn't and if he weren't on a lead or a long line I'd never see him again. Plus, he's definitely got a lot of collie in him - he was chasing cars in the car park at the chalets until I realised he is unable to resist the temptation to do so. Very shouty; instant result - he dropped like a gundog. Quite extra-ordinary. The only time he's ever responded like that but I was very, very angry so that means something to him.

The great thing about having these goals over a whole month is that although I know in a perfect world I should be doing all of these things all of the time, I'm not and I never have. I'm giving myself the whole month to get my A into G on all of them because I'm going to need the whole month except for the coffee thing, surprisingly. I've stopped drinking the real completely, an addiction I never thought I'd crack. I bought a couple of bags of decaff real today to try but if I don't like them enough I'll just stick with instant other than on very special occasions. I can't go back to what I was doing.

    Long post. Soz.
Hope Kelpie is feeling better, that sounds awful. When do you get the biopsy results back? Well done on the caffeine, hope you don't feel too head-achey

Life is a bit mad at the minute. Mr H has been back to the GP who is happy with his cellulitis improvement. it doesn't look any better to me, but there was a risk it wouldn't respond to the anti-biotics and that can be serious. He is still off work which has saved petrol money.
Money: Signature updated ready for Wednesday's payday. Managed the required £1100 to debts which means over 36% paid off. Over the next few months I have some huge expenses coming up: 1) The septic tank is playing up and repairs will cost about £600 and 2) We have a stupidly massive tree which is too close to our house and directly above our stables. We've been ignoring it for years but for safety I need to have a tree surgeon look at it soon. It's BIG.
    Diet :o
    Water :o
Sleep Surprisingly I'm sleeping really well right now. I feel loads better for it too.
Fun I'm running the house/animals/full-time work single-handedly while Mr H is incapacitated, alongside running around after him. Not too much time for fun stuff right now but I am stockpiling my fun entitlement to use when he's better :D

Healing vibes for Mr Happy (even if they're secret), JoeyJimbles and Dolphin. Strengthening vibes for you Mrs Happy while you're coping with it all during Mr Happy's incapacitation; it sounds like a lot for one person to have to manage on their own.
    Better is good enough.

    1. Lights out by 11.30pm five nights a week. Managed, two nights in a row and I feel significantly better for it.
    2. Maximum of five mugs of real coffee a week. Success! Just about to try T@y1or'$ decaff; it's primed and ready right next to me as I type this.
    3. Five fruit and veg a day. Success; the summer fruit is just fab.
    4. Get Kelpie to come to call reliably by the end of the month. He's still too poorly to even think about training and the results aren't back. Still, he's better this morning than he was yesterday and that's what matters.
    5. Give myself a couple of hours every day when I don't feel guilty about not doing more. Success - see 1 above. I no longer feel guilty about enjoying a computer game. OH has taken to sneaking into my office and trying to finish off the game I'm on if I leave it on the screen! Highly addictive.

    1. Lights out by 11.30pm five nights a week. Now managed three nights in a row.
    2. Maximum of five mugs of real coffee a week. The trouble with drinking real decaff rather an instant is withdrawal headaches. So, back on the instant this morning but I might have a decaff real later.
    3. Five fruit and veg a day. Success; the summer fruit is just fab.
    4. Get Kelpie to come to call reliably by the end of the month. He's much, much better. There was a moment on Thursday night when OH and I thought we were going to lose him, but he's turned the corner thank goodness. The results are back; it was benign, so he's got the all clear - Hurrah!

Sorry, went AWOL over the weekend as we had visitors so need to read back and catch up. It means that my targets went out of the window but thankfully no real damage done although I do confess that the £10 I had set aside for one of my nieces birthday turned into £30 :o (a pair of jeans for £25 and I let her keep the £5 change out of £30 for a bit of spending money. It was so worth it though as she was chuffed to bits and we got to spend some quality time together this weekend :).
